Apparently you canceled my order as the item is no longer available. Might have nice to let me know. Two emails asking me to rate your service but nothing to say we canceled your order. No response to my email asking where my delivery was. I finally phoned to be told it's canceled.

Absolutely rubbish service
Ordered 6 neon tubes on 13/01/2026 and paid. Order confirmation received via email, all good. Delivery in a few days, kitchen cabinets dark since neons are not working and need urgently.
Waiting, waiting, waiting until the 27/01 when I decide to call to see where these neons are... I call and the man on the other side tells me that this order was cancelled immediately and money never even left my account... not necessary to inform me, not necessary to send an email cancelling that order... this truly deserves 1 star but in all honesty the person on the phone was truly apologetic and admitted his fault and so 2 stars.

Disgraceful I ordered a nest smoke alarm online and what they delivered was an 11 year old used smoke alarm which was a year past its use by date all the packaging seals betoken and fixings missing, it’s been a week and chasing again today, customer service really poor I have taken pictures and chased for my refund, this was delivered by the Harlow branch, passing off old second hand stock as new is appalling and still waiting for them to collect before they will give a refund! I will probally need to do a chargeback, they don’t seem care

Melksham Denmans sadly gone down hill since the team change. They are all nice people but don't answer the phone. As a tradesman I have limited time in the job and literally everytime I ring up they do not answer. I've even had to contact other Denmans stores to order to get it delivered to Melksham.. crazy!
Seem to be prioritising over the counter sales.

Useless time wasters, ordered a storage heater, was told 7 to 10 lead time, 15 days later still heard nothing, enquired again only to find out the branch cancelled the order without informing me. No alternatives suggested...nothing! Will go elsewhere and find someone who actually wants to sell a product.

The staff on the trade counter were extraordinary! Never have I had better service from courteous, informed and very efficient staff. I was most impressed and would never choose to go elsewhere for electrical goods.

I have been using denmans for nearly 30 years.
The beccles branch staff are very helpful and efficient.
Denmans prices for the goods are cheaper than others suppliers.

24 hours later order cancelled, refund sent with absolutely no explanation.

Very fast dispatch time so arrived in good time for the electrician.

Web order passed to branch that closed 5 days earlier - so nothing happened for 7 days. Waited 7 days for promised corrected delivery. Nothing. Given the run around on 3rd and 4th call. Goods arrived following day UPS.
They were friendly and helpful but ultimately disorganized.

Purchased two led lights, received purchase confirmation receipt, received Trustpilot review request. Have not yet received items (6days since ordering) or any dispatch note or any updates. I understand you may not be as fast as some large selling sites, but you haven’t indicated when the items might actually be dispatched before asking for a review.

Went into Saltash Cornwall , the customer service was shocking wouldn’t even step outside to have a look at my welder to get the right part. Said I had to take it off as the photos weren’t good enough Email sent to head office. , not impressed will now find a new electrical store with better service.
