The packaging was flimsy at best. The product arrived barely covered in bubble wrap in a flexible cardboard box. Product was damaged. The response from deluxe cctv was that it was the shipper’s fault and I could superglue it or pay to send it back for a replacement.
The camera is listed at 180° coverage and it is 90° at best. It is also a large wall clock, but if you hang it at the appropriate height on the wall, the camera points straight out, so you only see the top of the room, from halfway up the wall. We had to hang the camera at table level in order to see people in the room. We paid extra to have audio, and the audio flickers on and off with no consistent sound. The product is also made of flimsy plastic and the back pops off so we had to retrofit the entire product in order to hang it on our wall. Such a huge waste of money! Paid several hundred dollars. We have other cameras and ring doorbells on our property, so we know what quality is. This was supposed to be an inconspicuous nanny-cam and it is cheap and useless.

Scam company. Threatened to sue after leaving a review by Dustin Dalton the owner. They sell Chinese products for inflated prices. They claim to be a manufacture and all products are made in USA.

Copy of C&D sent to me:

It has come to our attention that you are in violation of California Civil Code 44-48.9 against Mr. Dalton/Deluxe CCTV Inc., by making false statements on the Better Business Bureau using slanderous and false statements against Mr. Dalton/Deluxe CCTV Inc. Specifically, the false and inflammatory statement quoted here (“Interesting choice to use! Beware! The owner, Dustin Dalton, is liar and will continue to lie out in the open.”) Your statements are damaging to Mr. Dalton’s reputation not only as an individual, but as a business owner.

These types of false accusations could have devastating and long-lasting effects on Mr. Dalton’s business (Deluxe CCTV Inc.) and personal life. You’re false and inaccurate statements need to be removed within seven (7) business days, or we will file a lawsuit against you for the following civil law violations:

1. (Slandering)
2. (Defamation of character)

We are also formally notifying you as of today, Friday, August 8th, 2025, to cease and desist from any further false statements left on review sites, including but not limited to Google, the BBB, Birdseye, Bing, and any other review sites not mentioned here. You will need to acknowledge this request by Friday, August 15th, 2025. If you do not acknowledge this request, we will take your silence as an admission of guilt and process the paperwork to move forward with legal action against you.

I have held back not to ask for a refund, but it’s been 3 days. Hence I don’t get a notification from usps.com letting me know it’s in movement.

Upon calling 3 times with questions about a product the customer representative couldn't answer and no one was available to assist me "Red Flags" sounds like a scam we site
