We connect creditors with the best-performing licensed collection agency or law firm in the debtor's local market, so every case is handled by a partner who knows the jurisdiction, the language, and the debtor-side regulations. What makes Debitura different from a traditional international agency is the feedback loop. Every partner in the network is continuously scored on recovery rate, speed, communication, SLA compliance, and client satisfaction. Cases are routed based on that data, competing partners are A/B tested head-to-head in the same market, and underperformers are replaced. Clients don't have to hope they picked the right agency. The platform has already tested them. Because over 1,000 companies submit claims through one platform, Debitura negotiates rates that are typically lower than what a single business could arrange on its own, starting from 6% in Europe. A single master contract, the Standard Debt Collection Agreement, covers every country, eliminating the need for per-market legal work. The platform includes real-time case tracking, direct messaging with collection partners, standardized reporting across every country, accounting integrations (Stripe, QuickBooks Online, Zoho Books, KashFlow), a Zapier connector, and a REST API for deeper automation. No upfront fees, no monthly subscriptions. You pay only if an invoice is recovered. Typical users include SME finance teams managing 1 to 10 cross-border invoices, mid-market and enterprise AR leaders replacing fragmented networks of local agencies, and fintech or accounting platforms offering debt collection as an embedded service to their own customers.

The tricky thing about chasing payment…

The tricky thing about chasing payment as a consultancy is that you often still want to work with the client — so the heavy-handed agency approach is exactly what you don't want. We had a long-standing client sitting on a $14k invoice for a warehouse migration, three months overdue, lots of "next week" promises. Debitura's partner handled it firmly but professionally, kept it amicable, and worked out a structured payment plan rather than threatening anyone. We got paid in full, and remarkably we're still on speaking terms with the client. For a small firm where every client relationship matters, that balance was exactly right.

When I started selling internationally…

When I started selling internationally in my marketing agency, I had a few clients who didn't pay on time. I got the typical "we will pay next month" and after a while I just gave up. Debitura handled it for me in both Germany and UK. Very easy and worked really well!

As a home inspector in Portugal we have many clients from around the world, and we used to have a policy where we allowed payment after the inspection. We had a super annoying case in US where a client had two properties inspected in Algarve and left 2.200 USD unpaid. They didn't want to move to Portugal anyway and tried to run away.

I tried Debitura and had a great experience. Their local partner took the case after 2 days, and I had the case fully solved after a bit back and forth. Very happy with the service.

Breach of Contract and Unfair Fee Demands

I am extremely disappointed with the practices of Debitura and their local partner in China (Sun Jin from Ningbo Esteem). They advertise a strict "No Win, No Pay" and "No Upfront Fee" policy, but my experience was completely different.

My case involved a debtor in China (MrDongcan). The local lawyer got the debtor to agree to pay 3,000 RMB, but then negotiations broke down and no money was ever recovered. Despite recovering zero money for me, the Chinese lawyer Sun Jin demanded a non-refundable fee of 15,000 RMB from me to proceed.

When I questioned this clear breach of contract, they used high-pressure tactics and threatened to close my case immediately. Robin Tam (Head of Partnerships) was notified via 5 consecutive emails but has remained completely silent, refusing to resolve the issue.

This matches the negative experience shared by another reviewer, Saif Ali, on Jan 21, 2026. I have all the screenshot evidence of their 15,000 RMB fee demands and will be reporting this matter to the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA) and European Consumer Authorities. Avoid this service
UPDATE (July 9, 2026): Debitura’s reply is a complete lie to save their reputation.They are trying to mislead the public by calling the 15,000 RMB fee an 'optional, separate engagement.'Let the facts speak: Your Chinese lawyer, Sun Jin, used this massive 15,000 RMB upfront fee as a strict, high-pressure ultimatum. I was told that if I did not pay this fee, my case would be closed immediately. That is NOT an 'option'—that is extortion and a direct violation of your advertised 'No Win, No Pay' and 'No Upfront Cost' guarantee!Furthermore, Robin Tam (Head of Partnerships) ignored 5 consecutive emails detailing this malpractice, only responding AFTER I published this review. This proves Debitura's 'oversight' is a total sham. They do not protect victims; they protect their rogue partners.I have all the screenshot evidence of the 15,000 RMB demands and your team's silence. This full dossier is now being submitted directly to the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA) and European Consumer Authorities.Prospective clients, BEWARE: Their 'No Win, No Pay' is a trap to lure you in, before hitting you with hidden, massive fees later!

On the specific points you raised: your case ran on our no-cure-no-pay basis from start to finish, and you were never charged any fee — no upfront cost, and no success fee, because nothing was recovered. The additional legal step you were offered was a separate, optional engagement outside that agreement — something you were free to decline and were never billed for — not a condition of the collection service you signed up for. A repayment was negotiated with the debtor, but the debtor ultimately did not honour it, and once the amicable options were exhausted the case was closed, which is a normal step when a debtor stops cooperating. We also expect every partner on the platform to communicate professionally, and our team did in fact respond to your messages on several occasions. I am owner of Company name Forex…

I am owner of Company name Forex Sports, And had a dispute with client. who scammed us for Thousands of Dollars. Since i am not in USA, I needed a company who can help me to get that money back. Debitura had wasted my whole year to reclaim my debt from my client. They did nothing! They said they got in contact with client but i am doubtful in that as well. They never tried to dig in the case and Didn't get in detail messages with me.

So they are totally Fake, Once you asked any question or complain about there service, They will make sure to humiliate you!!

On the specific concerns you raised: we're a genuine service that works strictly on a no-cure-no-pay basis, which is why you were never charged anything for this case. Your debt wasn't ignored either — over the months it was open, the partner pursued the debtor through repeated letters, emails and phone calls, reviewed the documentation you provided, and assessed the option of legal action. They did attempt to reach the debtor, but the debtor screened contact and did not respond, and ultimately became insolvent and ceased trading — at which point there are simply no funds left for any collector to recover, no matter how hard the case is worked.
