I received my shipment today from daygard today I have never received anything which required someone to represent me regarding my shipment it was very easy with daygard they took control and sorted everything out for me i dealt with a young lady by the name of Rea very helpful and friendly....thanks for your help daygard and Rea .......brilliant....Will definitely recommend

Being the first time I had imported something from China I was a little bit clueless about what I needed to do but Chloe and other team members gave me all the advice I needed and made the process really smooth.
They always responded to my emails really quickly and were always at the other end of the phone to answer my questions.

We had a lcl from daycare we normally ship in a container a month they are usually excellent , now they say we need pay a invoice that is more then the value of the goods we were never informed, when we chased via our supplier in China , dayguard claimed they had emailed the notify party, they never wrote to them or informed them the email bounced because the company name was spelt wrongly.
Prior to this service has been excellent from Chloe Dowsett, we hope we can resolve it we were never notified and the notify party was never notified of this.
Prior to this we had fifteen years of excellent service i how- they can resolve it ?

I read the reviews on here about storage charge scam I admit it made me a bit nervous . However I contacted day gard about my incoming shipment and had nothing but help and advice from them. It was my first shipment and Chloe talked me through step by step taking time to explain everything clearly . Tbh I feel I was a pain in the rrrs to them . I can only think they have hundreds of shipments arriving daily and people don’t bother to contact them to see whether there shipment is in then expect to leave it there for a few weeks for free ! My shipment arrived got unpacked cleared customs and to the warehouse in a few days . I had no hidden charges , no hassle , and no rude staff as it says on here.
Excellent service as far as I’m concerned and would use again without a second thought .

Quick and efficient clearance through customs and a reasonable and consistent price. Considering the current events (Corona Virus) this was smooth and easy. Will use again.

We have been importing from Asia for 4 years now with Dayguard and they are an excellent team to work with. They are reliable and dependable - through normal times and especially lately with all the challenges of the past year!

After reading all the negative feed back on here I was really worried about using daygard but they were very professional, helpful and polite, the prices were fair and Rea was an absolute pleasure to work with whenever I emailed her she always replied. Pick up from the warehouse was straightforward and very easy, they even let me pick it up earlier than my scheduled time. Thank you daygard for a pleasant experience.

Having read some of the reviews on here, I am completely shocked. We have been using Daygard for many years and have never had an issue with them. The team, including Rory, Chloe, Gemma, Naomi and Laura (to name a few) have always provided us with an efficient and straightforward service with no hidden extra costs etc. and they are a pleasure to deal with. Communication is key people!

We've been working with Daygard for almost a year now and it's been excellent service all the way, goods are cleared and delivered within a short space of time. Highly recommended!!!

WORST COMPANY EVER!!

They add charges just for fun! They’re inconsiderate with bo customer service interest! They prey on individuals! Solely based on robbery! WORST COMPANY EVER! NEVER USE! AVOID DEALING WITH THEM AT ALL COST! This company needs to go out of business.

Brilliant service. Ms Chloe Dowsett has been extremely courteous, helpful and efficient in dealing with my transaction, for all of which I am very grateful. It was a pleasure doing business with Daygard and Ms Dowsett

Avoid these cowboys like the plague! Their communication is shocking. No email to tell us our goods had landed, the first we hear is a huge fine for storage! We had unforeseen charge after unforeseen charge and any saving we made using sea freight disappeared into Daygard's bank account. And to top it off, their staff are rude, obstructive and sassy. Would never go near them again.

I have used them a few times and now have account. They are really helpful - and Chloe definitely takes the strain out of shipping which I find stressful at the best of times!

A fantastic company to deal with and everyone is always happy to help and assist in every way possible. nothing is too much trouble

I’ve got to say after reading the previous reviews that I was extremely concerned about Daygard as a company,
I ordered a shipment of goods from China and the Chinese company went through Daygard so I had no choice, I have had no problems at all, I spoke to them on the phone and mentioned these reviews, the response was that some people do not do what they should when they should do it.
My advise to anyone using this company is this: when you receive an email from them with instructions about how to complete your shipment FOLLOW THEM CORRECTLY AND PROMPTLY. Check your trash or spam box to make sure emails do not get lost, do your bit when you are ment to do it and you will have a pleasant experience. Simple. This was my first time importing anything and all went well. if you leave things for days after they have Emailed you, this will cause them problems and will be RIGHTLY be passed on to you.

They do not tell when your goods are being unpacked, they do not communicate when any bill is due by so that they hold your goods to hostage for storage fees and invent any new fees to throw out you, what they do should be illegal utter criminals

Do not do business with these scammers! They have the worst communication and have no decency whatsoever. They have had our shipment for 5 days (and have already sent multiple invoices) and now, the day before the delivery they claim it is oversized and ask for more money or it won’t be delivered to us. On top of this, they say that if we don’t pay by tomorrow we will have warehousing fees. THIS IS BLACKMAIL.

This company ripped people. Even though our shipment was prepaid and we only had 50 boxes of shipment and they charged us £2900 for handling charges which cannot be this much. Our items were less cost then their handling charges. Avoid this company at any cost.

Dishonesty is to act without honesty. Lack of probity, cheating, lying, deliberately withholding information, and deliberately deceptive. Total lack in integrity, knavishness, perfidiosity and corrupt to the bone. Avoid this dishonest company! Witheld our goods and charged us a total of £2111 for storage which we had no control of as they decide when give out collection slots. You sir, are the lowest form of life on this earth! How you are allowed to trade, ripping people off I don't know. Avoid, avoid and avoid.
