I bought my new bike in Cycle Kind based at Northampton. Luke and Ben were fantastic! Both providing me with advise on which bike to buy based on my needs and budget as well as choosing the equipment required. Thank you very much for all the help.

I ordered a brake bleed kit that said it was in stock at the shop so I went to pick it up unfortunately they didn’t have it in stock so I requested a refund but still have not received it

I ordered and paid for the bike online , that was great, I live half hour away and the online said the bike was in stock so I gave it half hour and then headed down so an hour after I ordered. When I arrived I saw the guy working on my bike and I said “o great that’s my bike” the guy was really frosty with me, told me “I shouldn’t have come until I was called to say it was ready” which wasn’t clear on the website and I don’t buy bikes every day so should be clear. When I asked how long because I’m happy to wait he said

“20-30mimutes unless someone else comes in the shop then I would have to wait longer”
which I thought was so unbelievably rude, .

Maybe he was just having a bad day

The bike was great, they did a great job building and testing it, the price wasn’t cheap but a good price. Happy with the bike wouldn’t go back to the Northampton shop.

They were really nice, the things there are not as expensive as I thought they would be over all I 200% recommend this place

Told me the bike was ready but wasn’t. Front disc brake bled but not done properly and brake not working at all nearly went head first over some railings on my first ride on it

DANGEROUS BIKES DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
We bought a bike for our 3 year old and the brakes simply did not work well enough for the bike to stop. This resulted in our son losing confidence in cycling as he couldn’t stop as soon as he encountered even the slightest hill. We gave the shop three attempts to fix the brakes, including leaving it with them for a day to have brake service/overhaul and they replaced the pads but they still didn’t work. The issue was still not fixed. We went back and complained and a call was put in to the Senior Management team who told us that we (yes, the customer) DIDN’T do enough to get THEM to fix it!
Very very poor service from senior management and I would recommend you avoid this shop and their senior management team in general. We bought a new frog bike instead which works perfectly (but Cycle King doesn’t sell them).

The guys at the Northampton shop were so helpful when we rocked up at almost closing time this week.

The assistant manager and his colleague did not show any irritation at being consulted about our cycling issues at this inopportune time and were very helpful in sorting out some pumping and inner tube issues and actually gave us a spanner free of charge to assist us to get back on the bicycle's after the shop had closed.

Worse company/store in Northampton I have ever seen. Purchased the item from store,my father did, it was not suitable for his needs due to disability and when he went to return it(the day after the purchase),bare in mind he paid £900 deposit,they refused to receive the item back saying that he should not have taken it out of the store to try it. Also,their return policy on the website is not even clear,will not say they won't accept returns if the item was taken out of the shop. Worst company and staff I have ever met. Basically,they force you to remain with the goods despite being in perfect state and ready to be re-sold. I will not recommend this apalling business to anyone specially because I am sure they did not inform my father about their return policy,but they took his money. Now I have a disabled person stuck with the un-wanted product and out pf pocket with £1350 he is forced to pay because of them. Shame on you,not even a phone number to contact in order to resolve this,no head office details,only the useless staff members along with their manager who was rude and unhelpful.

The bicycle was delivered to store promptly and was built in time for collection. All the staff I spoke to were polite and helpful.
My granddaughter is thrilled with her new bicycle.

I couldn't work out how to tighten my breaks for the life of me so I brought my bike in and the tightened em up real good good free of charge. 10/10

Expected some panniers to be transferred from the Milton Keynes store to the Northampton store and this did not happen
