Cursed Tales 

Played The Forest on standard setting with two friends. The game uses a blend of well produced cut scenes and voice overs to liven things up. The player is free to roam the forest as they wish, with no obvious linear path linking each clue, this keeps the game more realistic and challenging as you have to link the clues yourself to unlock the secrets of the game. The user interface is very slick, with a side inventory that keeps all of your clues in a readily accessible place; a god-send as many of the puzzels require a double solution, so you need to dip back and forth between artefacts. Again, this keeps things intresting and challenging (make sure you read everything carefully, twice!) Finally, the mechanism to unlock padlocks etc is very good and exactly as you would find in a real escape room. The developers have put a lot of thought into this experience and I am looking forward to playing other titles as they are released.

A nice atmospheric puzzle to solve. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next one.

Really enjoyed playing this virtual escape room! Great storyline with easy to follow tech and good puzzles and riddles to try and solve. Would definitely recommend, either to play solo or with family and friends!

We had a great time playing the Mother together cracking codes and resolving the mystery. Being parents of a toddler, one of the really handy things was the ability to pause the game and go back again when we had some time free! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family and will make for a great present for someone if looking for something a bit different.

Played their first tale, The Mother. It was really well put together, fun to play and the story is great. A lot of effort has obviously been put in to this. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes escape rooms or puzzles/problem solving. Can’t wait to play their next instalment.

We have just completed cursed tales The forest it was fantastic some of the clues were very clever and really got us thinking. We would highly recommend cursed tales and can't wait for the next tale to come out

We had a great time playing the forest over Christmas with family. It was tough at times so we had to get a few hints and solutions but the challenge is what made it enjoyable. Loved the voice-overs as well, really added to the feel the game!

Very entertaining and immersive game! We played 'The Mother' and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Loved it! First online escape room and we completed it as a family linked up to Smart TV. Already planning our next ‘games’ night’ to complete another tale! Really enjoyed the cinematic style and the interactive elements.

Really enjoyed the tales that cursed tales have produced! Very immersive, entertaining and the storylines are excellent! The puzzles are challenging but also very fun! Would highly recommend!!

Good fun. Interesting puzzles but could have done with a slightly longer experience. Will def try the other tale.

Really enjoyable escape room style experience. The presentation and the interface is very slick and we loved the inclusion of video and audio throughout. Very highly recommended (especially for the price!)
