Mark Munnerly is an excellent accountant. He works through his clients needs and delivers with polished efficiency. I have always found him to under promise and over deliver.

I worked with Cubed for 4 years during which time I saw them go from a 3 man team with relatively small clients, to a 20 + team with mutli national and some big name sporting clients.

The problem is, they're greedy and started to marginalise their legacy clients as bigger more profitable clients came in.

This in itself isn't shocking, it's business, but what is shocking is the unprofessional manner in which they speak about and treat their clients when they deem them as unprofitable.

Like most businesses, I provided them with a business plan which not only contained my hopes and dreams for the business, but some pretty sensitive information.

It came to my attention that the file containing my business plan was labelled internally 'business plan and other jokes' which is in my opinion an extremely unprofessional way to refer to a clients plans, especially as the file was named by a director of the business, Richard Colwell.

When I questioned the owners about this, they said that it was a clerical error and that the file containing nothing but my business plan was supposed to be labelled 'business plan and other jobs'

Take from that what you will, but I would ask you to consider whether you want your personal data ridiculed by the people that you entrust to look after you finances and offer advice for your future.

On the very same day that the file was renamed and by the same aforementioned person, our business was reassessed by Cubed for profitability and rather than contact me to explain that they were shedding their smaller, less profitable clients, Richard decided to increase my monthly fee by 313%, effectively terminating our relationship, rather than being up front and honest.

When I raised this with the other owner, Mark Munnely, he offered very little by way of explanation or apology, instead stating that they can name internal files however they chose, that my account was too insignificant for them to continue to administer and that in their opinion, my business was a joke.

I'd think twice about your own business ethics before teaming up with Cubed, as when they deem you to no longer be big enough for your portfolio, they'll quickly turn and drop you with a barrage of insults and excuses.
