The CTC online platform was really easy to use, which helped with accessing supporting materials and submitting assignments. I also appreciated the flexibility of being able to complete the modules independently and at my own pace. Lastly, my tutor's guidance and support has been very helpful during tutorials.
The only drawbacks were that most of the learning materials were not made available until I had completed most of the course. I also faced some resistance from my employer when providing work product evidence for one of the assignments; eventually my tutor was able to agree an alternative assessment method for that assignment with quality assurance, though the experience was somewhat anxiety-inducing due to not being able to progress to later modules until this had been resolved.

Angela has been fantastic throughout the course, if you have any questions you can ask your tutor, whos details are provided to you at the beginning. The format of the course was very easy to understand with each unit displayed clearly and all the sub categories under it. Word count is provided with each question so gives you an idea of how long or in depth your answers need to be. There is also workshops available to attend for each unit which is great if anyone is struggling. Once you submit your assessment individual feedback is given on where to improve or what you have done well which is fantastic. Angela would reply straight away which is brilliant. I would recommend this course to anyone thats been wanting to do it.

I paid for a course in assessment (UPPA) with this organisation back in February 2025. I never completed it. After submitting assignments I got referred, twice — which was a mystery to me at the time. I’d never been referred at a Level 3 course before. Out of 14 years of study, ranging from Level 2 up to Level 8, that’s the only course I didn’t finish. Getting referred twice at Level 3 struck me as odd especially since I can do level 8.

I found my course really beneficial and full of information and resources. My tutor Kelly was amazing and offered helpful, timely feedback supporting me during my learning journey. The assignments and learning were easy to follow making the process simple. Thank you so much Kelly!

The course was very good, however when asking questions to clarify things I never got an answer and after several tries I gave up, I also posted the same on the Facebook group and again to reply from admin.

Great resources, easy to follow course, quick and effective responses and feedback from my assessor (Kelly) throughout. Perfect for what I needed - the first step in being able to deliver first aid training. Would definitely recommend.

My Tutor, Kelly, was very responsive- she responded to my emails within a day and almost all of my assessments were graded within a couple days of submission as well. The content was easy to follow and the self led learning/revision really appealed to me as I was able to structure my time in a way that suited me, meaning I was able to complete the course in 16 days.

CTC was fantastic. It is all online, which I was sceptical about; however, you are assigned a tutor whom you can contact with any questions and they answer in a helpful and timely manner. There is lots of opportunities for online workshops which are love or have been recorded so can fit around a busy lifetstyle

⭐ 1-Star Review – Very Disappointing Experience

I would strongly recommend prospective students think carefully before enrolling with CTC Training.

My experience has been extremely disappointing, particularly in relation to tutor support and customer service. Rather than feeling supported throughout my course, I have experienced a lack of meaningful communication and support when I have raised legitimate concerns.

I was also accused of using AI to complete my assignments, despite having explained that I am a PhD student with extensive experience of academic writing. To have my academic integrity questioned without what I consider to be a properly evidenced or constructive discussion was both frustrating and completely unacceptable.

I attempted to arrange a Teams meeting to discuss the situation, only for the request to be declined without any meaningful explanation or follow-up. That left me questioning how seriously CTC Training actually takes its students and their concerns.

I have also been disappointed by the standard of written communication in some of the emails I have received. As someone with a background in education and academic study, I was genuinely gobsmacked by the standard of English, grammar, phrasing and clarity in some of the correspondence. Professional communication should be a basic expectation from a training provider.

The final straw has been the customer service. I was recently told that a further email had been sent to me providing clarification. No such email has been received. This is exactly the sort of communication failure that has characterised my experience.

As a result, I have lost confidence in CTC Training and have now enrolled with another provider to complete my course.

I would strongly encourage CTC Training to look seriously at the level of tutor support, the way students are treated when concerns are raised, the quality of its customer service and the standard of professional written communication.

My experience has been extremely poor, and I would not choose CTC Training again.

Reply from CTC is not as honest as it could be..... in fact trying to resolve via email is impossible, so much so I had to result to a section 75 claim to get a refund...

I really enjoyed undertaking the Level 3 AET training course and got a lot from it. I had previously taught as a guest lecturer at Leeds University Business School, but the course helped me develop my understanding of different teaching styles and techniques, as well as important aspects of safeguarding.

The tutors were very helpful throughout. Lillian was my appointed tutor and always pointed me in the right direction when I needed guidance. I'd also like to give a special mention to Deborah Wooten for her webinars and pre-recorded sessions. I felt she was particularly effective at engaging learners and explaining concepts in a clear and accessible way.

Overall, I found the course both enjoyable and valuable, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to develop their teaching skills and confidence in the classroom.

The training (on assessment of learning) was extremely convenient, organized, and user friendly. My assessor, Angela Buick, was very responsive and supportive. I was very impressed with the structure and format of the training.

CTC Training is a great provider, they were understanding when I needed extra help or an extension on the course - they were very prompt marking my work and the course content was great. I especially appreciate how clear and well written the course content was.
