When I selected widgets in the app, no prices were shown. I believed the discounted purchase covered them, and I only saved them and never applied them. The app has no purchase history or billing information, so I can't see what I was charged for.

Support is an automated reply. It refused a refund and said everything is laid out in the terms. I didn't see those charges disclosed clearly before checkout, and the app doesn't match how it's advertised.

I've had to take this to my bank to dispute the charges. Check your statement carefully if you buy this.

Total scam and ai customer service. Please avoid. Predatory app that bypasses traditional app store protection methods.

They billed me today 14.99 for subscription I did not agree to. I contacted them within minutes of payment being taken to dispute and tell them I do not want the subscription but received ai responses telling me the charge still stands.

Update: I just checked my bank account and can see they have taken another £14.99 payment last week (20/9). They attempted to take £14.99 on the 18th also and £29.99 also on the 18th! Seems like they are just making it up as they go along and taking what they want from peoples accounts.

This is a scam to trick you into a subscription hidden behind a poor effort to create a widget for CarPlay. Please do NOT click on anything on this website or you will be billed by a subscription that you had no idea you’d clicked. You have been warned

Agreed to pay 4.99 for useless app and got charged twice right away 19.99 + 19.99 i sent them an email after 1 minute of the charges and only i get an automatic reply .

Total scammers...can't believe I got sucked in...made it look like a normal Apple App Store payment but totally fraugulant!

Someone needs to shut this company down. My bank flagged their charges as fraudulent and blocked further payments — after they had already taken £100 from me THIS WEEK!

I downloaded what I thought was a free app, realised it was rubbish and deleted it 20 minutes later. Yet somehow, they’ve continued taking money from my account.

Nobody replies to emails. They even pretend they don’t have you set up and demand verification codes. WHAT CODES?! I deleted your app almost immediately!

They are absolutely disgraceful. Taking money from people and then hiding behind a ridiculous customer service system is beyond unacceptable.

£100 taken in one week. No replies. No accountability. Just shocking.

Check your bank accounts and stay well away from this company. 🤬

They are scammers, they give you a promotion for 4 USD and after you purchase it they deduct 40 USD without your permission

WARNING SCAM FRAUD; Offered a widget for CarPlay at $6.99 once paid then two additional so called monthly payments were taken immediately luckily stopped by my bank. SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER NOT TO TRUST FB ADDS. Thank you Halifax bank.
Update; Contacted me after seeing my review - I am not interested in your fake offer of assistance, get stuffed and don’t contact me again.

I signed up for a one month of car widget and recieved 4 charges of $27.99 in one week. They claim I accept d additional offers, which I was unaware off. They also state there is a no refund conditions. Convenient for them to charge me over $100 for something I will never use.

Agreed to a 3.99 charge got charged 3.99 + 2 x 27.99 . Make it make sense....

I signed up for an $3.99 one payment, and then got hit with a monthly $29.99 charge

It’s a straight up scam, they charge you 2 times for 19.99€ even though you only accept a offer on 3.99€, and they won’t refund

Hier ist eine Betrügerfirma am Werk. Wenn man die App kauft für 3.99 wird einem direkt innerhalb von Sekunden nocheinmal 19.99 Euro vom Konto abgebucht. Laut meiner Bank sitzen die Betrüger in Lettland. Das kann aber nur das Konto sein. Ich kann nur Raten die Finger von dem Müll zulassen. Anzeige bei der Polizei habe ich genau wie Apple eingeschaltet. Man sollte auch die Bewertungen bei Apple lesen Jetzt hat sich die Firma unter einer anderen Mailadresse von einer Firma aus Österreich gemeldet und will mir das ganze erklären wie das passiert sein soll ich werde einen Teufel tun mich hier zu melden
Da sie ja das ja bei allen Kunden machen können sie ja das allen zurückzahlen dafür brauchen sie keine Kontaktdaten. Wobei ich ihnen meine nicht übermitteln werde weil ja jedem mit etwas Verstand dann sagt was dann passiert

I am writing to report that I was the victim of a scam involving an Apple CarPlay theme customization app called "Carvia: Car Widgets." I made a purchase, but the only charge I authorized was for $3.90. I did not authorize the two additional charges of $19.99.

I decided to proceed with the purchase because, after declining the initial offer of $6.99, a discounted offer of $3.90 appeared. That was the only amount I authorized. Two additional charges of $19.99 were made without my consent or authorization; therefore, I request a full refund for these specific transactions.

I already sent an email, but you refused to refund me, even after I explained everything that happened.

Mir wurden ohne mein ausdrückliches Wissen 29,99 € von meinem Konto abgebucht. Beim Nutzen des Dienstes war für mich zu keinem Zeitpunkt klar erkennbar, dass hier ein teures Monatsabonnement abgeschlossen wird. Die Kostenpflichtigkeit wurde intransparent und versteckt dargestellt.
Ich habe der Abbuchung widersprochen, das angebliche Abonnement umgehend widerrufen und mein Geld über meine Bank zurückgefordert.
Ich kann vor dieser Praxis nur warnen und empfehle allen Betroffenen, ihre Kontoauszüge genau zu prüfen und unberechtigte Abbuchungen sofort stornieren zu lassen.

Es un timo, no te permiten descargar la app, y te hacen cobros sin consentimiento.

Les escribo para exigir la cancelación inmediata de cualquier suscripción, prueba, servicio o cargo recurrente asociado a mis datos personales, así como la devolución íntegra de los importes de 3,99 € y 19,99 € cargados en mi tarjeta.
No he utilizado absolutamente nada de su aplicación o plataforma, no he descargado ningún contenido, no he accedido a ninguna funcionalidad y no he obtenido beneficio alguno de sus servicios. Del mismo modo, no deseo mantener ninguna cuenta, suscripción, relación comercial o servicio con su empresa, ni ahora ni en el futuro.
Tras contactar con su servicio de atención por correo electrónico, la única respuesta recibida ha sido que toda la información relativa a los cobros y a la suscripción figura en sus condiciones y en la denominada "letra pequeña". Considero que esta respuesta resulta insuficiente y no resuelve el problema planteado.
Como consumidor, entiendo que cualquier compromiso económico debe presentarse de forma clara, visible y comprensible antes de que se produzca el cargo. Escudarse posteriormente en textos extensos, condiciones poco visibles o información incluida en apartados secundarios no elimina la sensación de falta de transparencia que genera este tipo de prácticas.
Mi experiencia con Carvia ha sido profundamente negativa y, en estas circunstancias, no puedo recomendar su servicio a otros usuarios. Considero que la forma en que se presentan los cargos y las suscripciones puede inducir a error a los consumidores y generar situaciones como la que estoy reclamando.
Por todo ello, solicito:
La cancelación inmediata de cualquier suscripción o cobro recurrente.
La confirmación por escrito de que no se realizarán nuevos cargos en mi tarjeta.
La eliminación de mis datos de pago de cualquier sistema de facturación futura.
La devolución íntegra e inmediata de los importes de 3,99 € y 19,99 €.
En caso de no recibir una solución satisfactoria, continuaré con las reclamaciones ya iniciadas ante Apple y mi entidad bancaria, además de trasladar el caso a los organismos de consumo competentes para que valoren la transparencia y adecuación de estas prácticas comerciales.
Quedo a la espera de una respuesta rápida y de la confirmación del reembolso solicitado.
