Create Academy Omdömen 452

Having had an issue with my subscription which was a gift for Christmas I am pleased to say this has now been resolved. The courses are great and I really enjoy the content and opportunity to learn new skills.

Currently trying to get through my first class: Willow’s floristry master class and I have to comment because I don’t normally make reviews.

Willow is extremely slow in her explanations, she trails off and jumps around often - making it extremely hard to follow. She refers to every flower and pot as “she” which after a while becomes quite annoying to hear. She often goes into what I can only explain as a trailing off describing a visual scene as if you were in a creative writing class.

I really really wanted to like this class but the way it is executed has put me off from other courses. I will try more but I thought I’d send this as feedback because the bones are they to become a good class if the information was organized and presented in a clearer fashion so that viewers attention is captured and stays.

A lovely start to the year! I became a member of create academy with 10% off my subscription in the January sale! Willow Crossley’s floristry masterclass is full of all the details and her clear explanations are great for beginners like myself looking to start a career working with flowers. Looking forward to exploring many more of these courses more throughout this year. Highly recommend. Ruth

So far it has been great! I do wish there was an App and that it could be easier to watch on phone when convenient. Usually I watch by putting on my Frame Tv. But I don’t always have that opportunity. I am learning a lot and have definitely been inspired! Highly recommend.

The course is the perfect length and broken up into segments that are easily digestible. The visuals are amazing as Amanda takes you through her Hope Hill home to see all her advice in action. You will want to get on a flight to the Bahamas and have your own tropical escape at Hope Hill. Amanda was able to so eloquently explain how she creates her world class interior designs (broad strokes to the fine detail). I watched the entire course in a 12 hour period. More addictive than Netflix!

I did enjoy the course unfortunately the visual in the video where had to see even with zoom capability the amount of light made it difficult to see the object being drawn and also the painting visual was difficult to see. It looked pale and just hard overall to see the subject being painted it was too faint.

I’ve purchased the course for myself as a Christmas present.
So far I’ve watched 2 interior design courses and a lampshade making one.
I am so impressed. All of a sudden all ideas coming to my head and somehow I am a lot braver when it comes to planning my sitting room.
There is so much to choose from. Everyone will find a course for themselves!

I have just begun my journey into this course on color and patterns. It has been very informative so far. I have picked up quite a few tips on interior design to use personally. Lovely teacher who obviously knows her stuff! Looking forward to learning more!!

I am loving the courses. I am getting pearls here! It makes me think in a totally different way and look up loads of new things. It is all comfortable to watch and I cannot tell you how much joy it is bringing me. Knowledge from loads of experts in thier fields is priceless.
Bunny Williams especially is simply amazing!!Her incredible homes and her explanation of how she decorates. Just wow!!She is unpretentious and relatable inspite of being incredibly classy in her designs.

I’ve only done Bunny Williams thus far but I am absolutely loving it! I was familiar with her house but it’s a nice in depth view and a peek into why she makes the choices she makes. She’s also upfront about mistakes. I had a minor glitch in the beginning but Create Academy sorted it out quickly. I do wish the had an app. I play the lessons on my phone and then broadcast them to my TV so I can see better. I’m 62 so it could be my lack of technological skills to do this easier. Great way to start new year learning and my living room already seeing the benefit!

Rita Konig is an excellent tutor- content and style is really engaging. I’ve picked up some really useful tips so far. The only negative is the fact the advertised discount wasn’t applied when I purchased the course. I’ve emailed about it but yet to hear back.

I've been an interior designer for over 30 years and this platform is awesome in so many ways. After watching 15 plus videos of Bunny Williams, I feel validated and secure in what I have been doing all these years and feel new excitement going forward. I've also watched several Rita Konig episodes as well as Butter Wakefield and can't wait to broaden my horizons. I plan to carve out time for a few episodes each and every day until I have seen them all!

I'm enjoying both courses, Sarah Raven and Willow Crossley. They are very easy to follow instructors and quite personable and down to earth.

I have just finished the Interior Design course on Create Academy and am extremely satisfied. The content is great; the course was very practical with a lot of tips and names of shops and suppliers. The layout is very user-friendly.

Every video lesson has a workbook that contains all the topics and tips the lesson covered. Really enjoyed it and definitely going to buy another course or subscribe!

I have just finished watching the small garden design course and now I plan to watch it all again. I thought it was delightful and although I have been gardening for years I learned a lot, particularly about the planning and design process. Butter Wakefield is so enthusiastic and joyful it is inspiring. I can’t wait to start planning a new garden or rethinking an existing one.
Not a criticism but I would like to be able to download the designs and planting plans and more information about the size and dimensions of the gardens would be very helpful.

The programs and production value are quite nice.

(2) things that are fails for me:

#1- you can not download shows so that you can watch them on a long flight, for example.

#2 - No App - means that I can’t watch it on my tv - only on devices. Would be so much more impactful seeing the rooms in a larger format that the designers are sharing.

Both are a shame that the integration has not been implemented and seems a bit behind current tech trends.

I have loved the videos that I've watched so far. The photography is beautiful. I've learned a few things, too, even though I joined more for entertainment than education.

These courses are akin to sitting across the table with some of the greatest creative minds. This is hard won wisdom generously passed out.

I took Tess Newall’s course with Create Academy and it was absolutely fantastic. Tess is an excellent teacher and the way the course has been structured and filmed was pure joy to experience. I am fully inspired and have already started implementing many of the things i have learned. Highly recommend it!

Just started my first course so early days for finding my way round the website, and haven’t checked out all the resources but pleased so far
