From NBN Netphone to CrazyTel, a wise step with more features
My motel use over 500 IPs so I cannot use the default router provided by iiNet, after upgrade the router, I cannot use NBN NetPhone because SIP account/password cannot be provided, only the default router can work. So I migrated to Crazytel with a Grandstream HT801V2.
Tom, the support from crazytel, guided me and setup:
- port the number
- setup SIP trunk
- register my GrandStream device to SIP
- dial 1 for accommodation; dial 2 for bowling & arcade
- call forwarding: accommodation to a mobile; bowling & arcade to a land phone
- Review my usage and suggest plan
Tom is very knowledgable, friendly and just make my day feel very bright.

Signed up my 3000 employee call centre a few months ago. (We're one of the biggest) And they back up every claim they make. Nothing like their competitors third world country infrastructure. These guys are the real deal! My business has made great progress after changing to crazytel, and the greatest part of it all, is how I was treated BEFORE they even received payment for their services. They treated us like royalty. Not an issue from the start (and with other companies we've had many) we were given courtesy and respect and asked if "There's anything we can do please let us know" When I questioned them on their service and pricing I was blown away at how much value they were offering. A few weeks later and not only have they talked the talk.. but I'm seeing the savings in my company. I don't know how I can thank you guys enough and in todays day in age (I'm an old timer) you just don't get service and treatment like this anymore. Take this as a sign from someone who's been around and seen it all in this industry. Jump in and take the chance. We saved a lot. Thanks guys, was our saving grace and we're so grateful for everything.

Really terrible experience with this…
Really terrible experience with this company, the phone we had would not connect on first call attempt and only after a few attempts would it reconnect the number and let customers get through. it did a lot of harm to my business. ended up getting a dedicated sim and phone, much better.

I signed up for a SIP Trunk line…
I signed up for a SIP Trunk line (standard number) + voicemail. The product works great, really solid dashboard and systems. Support is in Brisbane. The cost is also very good.... dare I say it, even 'Crazy' good. Definite recommend from me.
Problems solved
We had some challenges with change of staff and Tom has stepped me through every single issue we’ve had today and problem solved it with me. He’s a total asset to the business and to ours. Highly recommend.

As a new business owner, it was very overwhelming for me to set up a phone number. Thanks to CrazyTel especially Tom, this process was much much easier. I called over 20 times and all times he has been patient with me and helpful in going through the different processes step by step. I highly recommend this company and defs talk to Tom, he is the best ever!!!

Crazytel have a great product, good pricing and responsive customer support. The GUI web interface is easy to navigate and full of features. Highly recommended!

Outstanding Provider
I have been using CrazyTel as a business customer for a couple of years now and all I can say is they are outstanding. I have 1300 numbers, Local numbers and Virtual mobile numbers with them and they have never missed a beat. Their customer service has always been there to help when I needed it. I would highly recommend them for home or business. Simply a great service.
Good company
Good company, helped me setup my SIP trunk mobile number with my mobile. Been using for around 2 years. Was rather complicated, but support helped a lot. Recommended as long as you don't mind a bit of trouble shooting.
Cost effective, very happy with Crazytel VOIP
I have been using Crazytel for 12 months now. So that I can receive calls, I purchased a Crazytel phone number at a cost of $1.00 / month. I used my existing Telstra landline number and closed my Telstra account. The monthly charge ($1.00) together with the cost of calls is significantly cheaper than what I was paying. I now pay less in 12 months than I was paying in 1 month with Telstra. I set up a separate email account for voicemail, recorded my own message, and all voicemail messages are sent to that email address. I can make and receive calls and get my voicemail messages anywhere.
I have not had any problems with my Crazytel account or the VOIP service, so I cannot comment on after sales service.
This is a great product, I highly recommend Crazytel VOIP.
The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever! We have had a major issue with our numbers being spoofed. Lodge one ticket and get a response from Phil... see below. No Super Star here, as per their email signature.
I called 14 hours later to get an update and to ask if there was anything else we could do, and before I could even ask my question, he (Phil actually answered the call) abruptly told me he had responded and there was nothing they could do and have raised the query with the provider. Not only was his attitude terrible, but the level of care and customer service was nonexistent. I am sure they will respond about my being angry which I admit my response was that so I will add it in here for completeness.
