I would leave zero stars but not an option. Same as the others wish I had read the reviews first. Took my money and then expected me to jump through hoops with little communication or any help. Not what was promised in the beginning ( we will be with you every step of the way) Total lies and walked away with my money. If I had the energy I would take them to court. They need to be stopped

We tested the CPD Certification Service (Membership 22135) in parallel with the ISO 17024 qualification path through other accredited bodies (such as ASACERT), and the comparison is, unfortunately, staggering. While other organizations provided a logical, fast, and results-oriented workflow, we remained bogged down with CPD for over a month while attempting to accredit a single module. Their demands for integrations and full translations are excessive and demonstrate a total lack of understanding regarding modern e-learning platforms and the use of AI in training. This makes their model completely unscalable for providers managing large and innovative catalogs.

However, the greatest disappointment lies in their administrative and ethical management. Despite a clear incompatibility between their service and our operational needs, they refused a very reasonable partial refund request of 60%, even though we had only attempted to use 1 out of the 10 slots purchased (leaving them a 40% margin for a single assessment). This behavior shows a complete lack of client understanding and a very short-sighted business vision. Furthermore, it is highly questionable that our course was 'magically' approved only a few hours after our formal refund request—a blatant and unprofessional tactic used to justify keeping the full membership fee for work that was not completed in a timely or scalable manner. It is a shame, as we could have collaborated profitably on other markets in the future, but after this total lack of flexibility, ethics, and foresight, trust has completely vanished. Not recommended for those seeking an agile, ethical, and professional partner.

I really can't tell you what a waste of money accreditation with this company is - you will get no leads, no referrals, no support. The accreditation process is lumpy, inconsistent and will only leave you feeling judged. If you have all the time in the world to write articles, promote THEM for them and generally crawl up their butts, you might get somewhere, but otherwise, when they ask you why you are leaving to go elsewhere they will make it your fault. They can't even be bothered to turn up to an online meeting call on time.

STAY AWAY!
There are numerous companies offering CPD certification now in the UK. These are by far the worst. No promotion, no engagement, nothing. The only thing they do efficiently is when they invoice you to get their money from you!

If my business had almost 80% bad reviews I'd be looking to find out what's gone wrong. A once well respected organisation that really has lost its way.

As many have said, they're incredibly courteous and efficient when offering you the chance to become a CPD member.

Then you submit your well received courses, of which you've already had thousands of students through with a 95% satisfaction rate and in comes Doris (not her real name) who critiques your course with absolutely no regard for your individual audience, the way your learners absorb content, the need for a certain tone of voice, the acceptance of modern day language. Oh no, Doris wants it to be like a Powerpoint presentation circa 1998. She'd be even happier if students had access to a coffee machine, also circa 1998, even though the course you've submitted is online.

I had the pleasure of communicating with their Operations Director who brought up my disability to, and I quote, show that they do 'care'.

I do believe CPD UK have had continued success off the back of their once respected accreditation. Much like Marks and Spencer's knickers! However, you need to adapt as new players come onto the market and make the whole experience so much kinder, more accessible yet still maintaining high standards.

I wish I had read these reviews before forking out £950 for a non refundable annual membership where they refused all my applications for CDP for the daftest reasons.
I have had many back and forth emails with very little success, it is a frustratingly antiquated company that I have wasted time and money on. Please use any other supplier.

POOR SERVICE AND WASTED SO MUCH MONEY & TIME

Rubbish service. We asked several questions in an initial phone call, these were not answered and were told the information would be in a follow up email. The follow up email misspelled our business name, despite it being a generic word, and the information promised was not there either. Further emails arrived telling me I once I paid I would get all the info I needed. Not good enough. Then they sent me a feedback survey to complete which I couldn't, because the only options were to say which service of theirs is my favourite! PLUS! There are no unsubscribe links in the emails, which is appalling.

Great service and repsone to all of my queries of which the level of engagement was very professional along with the information. I imagine some of the poor reviews are due to non-acceptance of the submitted courses which need to be of a hight standard to ensure that the material and providers on the website match quality and performance required. Very professional service with which I've had no issues.

Appalling unprofessional behaviour. I queried some questions they sent regarding a new course I was trying to get accredited and they kicked me out for asking the questions. I am suing them for loss of business. THEY ARE A COWBOY COMPANY AND NEED TO BE STOPPED

Really bad services. They are fast to take your money. Yet they will not certify you nor are they expert in your field. They give you no templates on what their standards are to get you certified, reject your first and second attempt, they use words such as “look polished” in order to be certified. £714 from a community interest voluntary company that helps the community and gave us nothing. Taking this to the small claims court. Sad experience

A false and useless organisation. Signed on to a course via their site, that organisation then cancelled the course but wouldnt give any refund! CPD then refused to help even though it is accredited by them and continue to have this fraudulent organisation on their website. Clearly no standards and should notnhave the reputation it has.

My daughter had a problem with a training academy that claimed to be CPD accredited, it turned out that they had not paid their membership and their membership had been suspended at the time of the courses that she received certificates for. Mr. Martin Rowe then backed the suspended academy with a decisive email in court which resulted in my daughter not getting a refund. Since then he has washed his hands and refuses to say why he has done this, beware of this company they appear to be above board but there is something very dodgy about them.

Beware unfair renewal terms.

One month before my annual renewal date I let The CPD Certification Service know that I didn't want to renew. They replied that I needed to give 3 months notice or be liable to pay another full year's fees.

We came to an arrangement and I paid for an extra 3 months rather than the full year, but I found their approach to be unfair to small businesses.

Their three month notice terms are hidden in 3500 words of small print T&Cs. They send no renewal reminder at 9 months.

They claim to be within their rights. I think it's sneaky.

There are a number of CPD accreditation services out there which receive good ratings here on Trustpilot.

If I were looking for CPD accreditation for my courses in future I'd go with one of those.
