We have had this couch almost a year. Overall, the couch is great. It is very comfortable as a couch and a pull out bed. One reason though that I had purchased it was because of the two cats and one dog that we have. It is not good for cats. Right away, the cat nails dug in and the fibers pull out very easily. We have bought a few couch cover protectors, one with elastic that goes over each seat and back piece, and a stick on protector for the sides, as well as a dog blanket. We also have cat nail covers on the cats. I think for the price, it should have a better material for cats.

Hi Kim, thank you for sharing your experience after almost a year with your Neptune. We’re glad to hear it’s been comfortable both as a sofa and a pull-out bed, but we’re sorry the fabric hasn’t felt as pet-friendly as you expected, especially with your cats.
Our Basalt fabric is water- and stain-resistant, but its wider weave means that pets who regularly use the sofa can occasionally catch the fabric with their claws, which may require more maintenance over time. We understand how disappointing this can be when having pets was an important consideration in choosing your sofa.
We really appreciate your candid feedback and will be sharing it with our Product Development team as we continue looking for ways to improve our fabrics and make their characteristics clearer for pet owners.
