Terrible products, with known deficiencies. Crappy return policy, lousy customer service, only offer partial refunds even though I contacted them within a few days that the shoes were defective.

I got the pickleball shoes on a friend's recommendation, and although they were comfortable for walking around, they weren't kind to my toes when I played. They hurt after only a few games. I said they weren't for me; fair, I have had shoes that didn't fit well before. But the struggle began when I contacted them to return them. On their website, they offer a 45-day “play in them” money-back guarantee. But that has proven very difficult; first, you have to email them to return them, and then the Turkish bazaar haggling starts! I just want to return them, but they keep offering discounts and a free additional pair if I pay for shipping. I finally told them I'd donate the shoes, and they can do what they think is best. In a world where returns are only a click away, their process is awful. Got myself a pair of Kuru Velocity, and boy, are they comfortable- expensive, but comfortable.

I ordered two pair of shoes and one was the wrong size by a few sizes. They told me to keep it and they'd send a replacement. I donated them to a men's charity. They were going to charge me for the replacement pair--but changed their mind after a couple of emails from me. That was May and this is September and still no shoes. I have written and each time they apologize and say they will investigate. Once when i complained, they said the sneakers were shipped but the last they heard from the shipping was june 15, so apparently it was out of their hands? They can't send a new pair? Oh, and when I got the first pair, they offered me a FREE pair for a five-star review, so I did what they asked. I mean, I did like the shoes. But I never got that pair either. I gave them many chances but they do not back their product or care about their customers.

I have loved my pickleball shoes until I tried to wash them. They washed well but then dried with dirty marks all over them. They are now in my donation pile. What a waste on money on a great product that chose cheap fabric.

No customer service and always 2 - 3 days to hope for a reply.

Have 3 orders of shoes that were received within 1 week of each other. There were issues with shoes and I have asked for a return of shoes that were not worn and a refund.

Company is not honoring their return policy and have only offered new sizes or a discount of 20%.

All I want is my money returned and they can have all their shoes.

This company advertises their pickleball shoes on social media, targeting older players. They claim that the wider toe-box and construction will “naturally increase your strength, providing support and flexibility to your game, so that you can do what you love for longer, without those constant aches and stabbing pain in your feet”.

Using their sizing guide I ordered a pair of shoes, after carefully measuring my feet. When they arrived, they were much too small. I contacted them, and to be fair, they do respond quickly to emails. They said to keep the small pair, and they would send me a pair up a size, as long as I paid postage. Reluctantly I agreed.

I’ve been wearing the replacements for more than 2 months. I’m happy with them. The uppers are of lighter construction than other brands, so I’m wondering if they will last as long.

Courtstride sent out an offer for a 2nd pair at a much reduced price. Bearing in mind my misgivings about their durability, I ordered the same shoe in a different colour. When these arrived, they were completely different in design, and despite being nominally the same size, they were smaller. They are too small to play pickleball.

I contacted Courtstride. I sent photos. They accept that they sent the wrong shoes and they agreed to send me the correct shoes. Eventually I got the replacement pair, and they’re a similar fit and quality to the first size 12s. So for now, I’m a satisfied customer.
