They squared away my thousands of transactions across multiple wallets, exchanges, and blockchains. And I was easily able to upload the results to TurboTax. Some of my info was incomplete because some exchanges went under or no longer allowed access to me from the US, but they were able to work with what I had. I also appreciated that they were upfront with their pricing.

CountDeFi was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable in their approach to crypto tax calculation. It would have been a MASSIVE headache to have done it without them, and timewise I'm unable to commit to the mammoth of a task that is crypto taxes, especially considering that I use multiple wallets, blockchains and exchanges, and the nature of my transactions are complex.

As expected, you do need to work with them to provide context in certain situations, however most of the process is fairly well automated and they can really simplify your tax calculations for you.

I looked for eight months for someone to help me with my crypto trades for 2022. Count Defi was great. First, they did a video call with me and really seemed to understand my concerns and the struggles I was having. I was using a tax program and there were some transactions I just could not figure out how to trace. I really wanted to be able to talk to a person, as emails back and forth with the support person took so much time. Count DeFi offered to do whatever I wanted to help get them the information and to clarify things. They even agreed to screen share with me if I needed it. However, their directions were so good, I was able to upload everything fairly easily and anytime I had a question, the answer they emailed to me was enough. I feel so much more comfortable that things are done correctly now and that is very important to me. This has been one of the best experiences ever as I felt so much less stressed. I will continue to use them in the future.

Good stuff : They are EXTREMELY organized and seem to be very knowledgeable about the complicated dynamics of crypto. The initial meeting with the owner to discuss whether I should use them or not was very informative. I really like how everything seemed clean and smooth using them. Their online forms are easy to use for the most part. My particular situation didn't fall exactly within their tiers of offered plans, and the owner worked with me on that and helped me out. Basically, I went with these guys because they are pretty young group that is well educated in crypto space, they have great presentation, really good communication and response time, and very modern online setup.

Not So Good Stuff : Seemed expensive to me; especially knowing I was going to have losses already incurred with taxes. I understand you get what you pay for but in the end my Koinly printout seemed kind of generic. Maybe I was expecting a singing telegram or something, I don't know lol. Now with that being said, I did the Koinly thing before I went with these guys. The Koinly tax report I did, and the Koinly tax report Countdefi did varied greatly. Obviously, after comparing the two, theirs is more accurate. So, expensive (?) somewhat compared with others, but when it comes to dealing with the IRS and this crypto stuff I want to make sure I am accurate with my reporting. Also, when I got my tax report back from Countdefi there was tons of information that I didn't understand thoroughly. When I asked questions about the form, I got answers back, but the answers weren't that complete and were very cursory. This is a crucial moment for the customer because this is when you are seeing all the numbers and what that means to your money. When asking questions about those numbers and definitions it would be much better if Countdefi could be extremely informative and thorough with their responses. This would go along way with the customer 'calming down' some and being content with the results (and also cut down on more follow up questions - good for both parties). It was kind of like having great service at a restaurant and then having to wait forever on the check....It isn't the end of the world, but with it being the final step why not make it great and leave a good feeling for the customer at that stage in the process. But, overall these guys are good but a little on the pricey side.

I was desperately looking for someone I can trust with the mountain of trading data. Then I found CountDeFi and their friendly faces. And they were proficient in all accounts.
