Do you replace your sofa every two years ?
Bought the Modern 2-Seater Linen Fabric Sofa Bed in June 2024. At first it was fine. Not the comfiest sofa, and needs topper when used as a bed.
In March 2026 a main spring in the sofa snapped, so I contacted customer services. After much back and forth their response was
"as the sofa bed was purchased in June 2024 and has now been in use for nearly two years, this type of issue appears to be consistent with normal wear and tear over time. As such, it falls outside of our after-sales support coverage, and we are unfortunately unable to arrange a replacement part."
So, fine for very occasional use, but don't expect it to last.

We love our sofa! We have the remote control modular chaise sofa bed and it’s brilliant. It was difficult to find something that worked for our space, but this fits perfectly. Plus the fabric truly lives up to its claim of being cat-scratch resistant, which is a huge win for us. A great product, made even better by outstanding service. Three months later and I still have a dirty, broken sofa I paid £1200 for.
I paid £1,700 for a sofa. What I received was a dirty, partially broken item that appeared to be a return. After three months, I was left having effectively paid £1,200 to keep it.
I was explicitly instructed to wait while a replacement was manufactured and shipped. I did so in good faith for three months, during which time I bore unreasonable inconvenience: storing sofa-sized cardboard boxes in my home for months, taking time off work, repeatedly rearranging deliveries, and chasing missed deadlines and contradictory assurances. At one point I raised objection and was offered a cushion for my time. Then £50. Both were so insulting it became a joke. They claimed to offer further compensation to me; they did not and there is no evidence of such.
Cottonfy appears to have no UK-based staff (their response time reflects this at any rate) and relies entirely on a third-party delivery partner (who were, notably, far more competent and responsive). That courier does not provide packing services, meaning the burden of dismantling, packing, storing and re-packing a defective sofa (for months) was placed entirely on the consumer. Though a delivery package was upgraded to two men and a room of my choice, this didn't feel relevant for collection when the next thing happened.
The promised replacement was, beyond belief, “lost”. At that point, Cottonfy pivoted away from replacement or full refund and toward escalating partial refunds. I ultimately accepted £500 not because it was fair, but because I had neither the energy to continue escalating nor any confidence that, having already lost one sofa, Cottonfy could be relied upon to collect the existing one without leaving me with nothing.
This process appears to breach the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
• Goods not of satisfactory quality
• Failure to provide a replacement within a reasonable time
• Resolution achieved only after unreasonable inconvenience to the consumer
This was not goodwill. It was attrition. The final outcome reflects customer fatigue, not compliance. Proceed with extreme caution, or buy LITERALLY anywhere else.

When the issue with the original sofa was first reported, we worked with you to find a resolution. As agreed, we arranged an upgraded replacement sofa and included complimentary cushions as a goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, due to ongoing stock and logistics constraints, the replacement could not be dispatched as planned.
During this period, we remained in contact and provided interim compensation as a gesture of goodwill, while continuing to discuss available long-term solutions. These included a full refund following collection of the original sofa, or the production of a brand-new replacement with an estimated lead time of 12–15 weeks.
As explained in our email correspondence, the original delivery had already been upgraded to include delivery to your room of choice. For returns, packing services are not included. Customers need to repackage the returned items in their original packaging themselves. However, we confirmed that collection could still be arranged using alternative protective materials if the original packaging was unavailable. Unfortunately, you advised that you were unable to source suitable materials to package the sofa, and as a result, the collection could not proceed.
Following further discussion, you proposed a partial refund while retaining the sofa. This option was agreed upon, and a £500 refund was processed accordingly.
While our sofas are manufactured in Hong Kong, our customer service, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations are all based in the UK. We regret that this experience did not reflect the standard of service we aim to provide.
We acknowledge that this situation fell short of expectations and regret the inconvenience caused. We appreciate the time you spent engaging with us to reach a resolution.

Not a trustable website, bad customer service
Not a trustable website! Information provided on the website are not true! It shows item in stock and delivery in 7 days but when the purchase is done they inform you none of above is correct! There is no customer service (no phone number only chat). When complaining about the wrong information on the website they don’t even offer a compensation as an apology for lying to you in the first place. Really disappointing and non-professional service.

Brilliant sofa! Quick delivery
At first I wasn't sure about ordering from a company that I've never heard of but I'm really glad I did. Sofa came in a day earlier than expected and it's beautiful. It looks exactly like the pictures. Moy was amazing and kept me informed throughout. Delivery team was also super helpful as they not only set it up for us but also took away all of the packaging. If you're hesitant, don't be. Sofas are well worth it!

I bought a version of a popular, viral sofa from Cottonfy - they stocked the only version it with legs that I could see, which was crucial for our underfloor heating.
I did visit the showroom beforehand as it's local to me and got to see a version of the sofa in person which was really useful, but I was still a little nervous in case I didn't get exactly what I was expecting. I paid by credit card so I was protected if things went south.
Comms from Cottonfy (Jessica) were great. I always knew where the order was up to, and the sofa arrived pretty much 4 weeks after I ordered - sooner than I expected.
It was smoothly delivered on Friday, well protected, and it's perfect. I'm absolutely obsessed with it and definitely recommend Cottonfy - over the moon with my purchase! Already had a nap on it over the weekend.

Overall happy with the product and service. However, there was a mistake on the product delivered initially (wrong colour) but the team replaced it with the right one relatively quickly. The communication via email was satisfactory and the waiting time was around 14 weeks.

It's very comfortable as a sofa with soft comfy cushions, and also folds out to be a really good sized bed, which is exactly what we were looking for as a extra occasional bed.
Colour choice was great and allowed us to find the perfect fit for our newly finished living room.
Customer service over email was good and delivery arranged for us as we live in a remote area.
All in all, very happy with our purchase.
