Slow delivery with no update
I placed an order last week. Delivery date was set to today but I still haven't received any email regarding shipping or the item. Not very nice especially when you need the item urgently.

We checked and found that the item which you ordered is our special offer "super early bird" item. For our "super early bird" items, they are lower than our regular prices. After the "super early bird" period ends, the item's price will return to its normal rate. Since you have taken advantage of our "super early bird" prices, we can only ship the item after the "super early bird" items arrive at our warehouse. So, please be advised that the pre-sold item in your order may require a longer processing time before they can be shipped, expected to ship no later than 05/08/2025. Poor Quality
When the furniture arrived one of the chairs was damaged as the material was broken on the corner and the holes were very difficult to allign so all in all i would not recomend this as not good quality

Takes the order doesn't deliver
Takes the order, but doesn't deliver to any address in Highlands and Islands but I also tried addresses in Glasgow and Edinburgh and wouldn't deliver there either - but took the order and then weeks later declined the order....

Brought a £300 bouncy castle water…
Brought a £300 bouncy castle water slide from them which broke after one use. The whole corner ripped off after my 2 & 3 year old went on it. They won’t replace it as sold out now & wont tell me when it’s back in stock. Very disappointing!!!

I ordered two Rattan reclining chairs
I ordered two Rattan reclining chairs. I was pleased with the first one as it was sturdy and good quality, however the second one was faulty. This was the first time I had bought from Costway UK. I braced myself for a problem returning it but to my surprise after receiving an email and photo of the fault they replied within 24 hrs to apologise and said not to bother sending it back and replaced it within in two days. I must say that’s impressive. The chairs are perfect and I am delighted. I will shop again with Costway but this time with confidence. Perfect customer service.

Cancellation and refund request was actioned so quickly
I ordered a kitchen island from costway but soon after ordering I realised it was going to be too large for our kitchen. So I emailed their customer support team to request a cancellation and refund. And within 12 hours I had a reply to say it had been cancelled and I received the refund 2 days later. Couldn’t be more grateful as that could have ended up being a big palava!

My 18000btu air con unit works when it wants.
Purchased a portable 18000btu air con unit last year. Didn't use it a whole lot, maybe 10 hours running time but in the heat wave 2 weeks ago or so ago i plug it in and it started and it started blowing cold air as expected. The Mrs said it stopped blowing cold air,i didn't take much notice.
Now tonight 11/07/25 on one of the hottest days of the year, i plug it in, starts blowing nice cold air then 10mins later the compressor part turns off. Give it 20mins and it turns back on for 5mins or so then back off. Meanwhile i cooking alive with a useless air con unit that is faulty.

Bought a rocking chair from Amazon sold…
Bought a rocking chair from Amazon sold by cost way Uk. I am not bothering to open the box as they used dx frieght as their delivery company. No empathy for pregnant women driver left box outside within a minute and sped off. The customer service representative for their company who answered the call was extremely rude and definitely not fit to be a customer service representative said something along the lines of we leave things outside the door and I’m like what if someone steals it. When I explained just needed someone to carry over the porch and not in the house she was extremely rude. Hopefully she gets a taste of her own medicine very soon.
I am editing this review as the delivery company they use is bad but the company itself was amazing. Please note I have not been given any incentive to edit this review. Notices yesterday that the chair had become cheaper by £10 on Amazon called Amazon and they said they couldn’t price match so advised returning the chair and buying the chair at the new price. Amazon contact the seller cost way for me and today cost way had responded saying they can refund me £10 to safe me the hassle of returning the chair and buying at a new price. Definitely grateful for their services.

Ordered this rattan bistro set from Costway , delivery by DX was swift, the driver was friendly and helpful.
There were five items requiring assembly, 3 chairs ,2 footstools and a table, the assembly was easy too their very sturdy and of good quality , the bolts etc sealed flat in a pack fully labeled. Also excellent value for money, All in all a good experience I would buy from them again.
