I got the scratch star for my 8 year…
I got the scratch star for my 8 year old daughter who suffers daily with eczema on her whole body, constant rashes and itching that breaks skins. Since using this it’s helped her massive, she hasn’t had a break in her skin, and right now in years her skin is slowly healing naturally without steroids or other medicated creams.

Eczema barely visible now
The star scratcher has helped my son's eczema so much that it is barely visible now. When it was at its worst, we iced the area then used this with cream and the symptoms improved so much and helped avoid infections from scratching. Thank You to the company

The relief my daughters been waiting for
Cosi-care arrived in a couple of days and as soon as it did my daughter has been so relived. She uses it pretty much every day and she says it feels amazing for her. No more tears 🥹

Expensive disappointment for 5yo daughter
I was desperate for this to work for my 5 year old daughter who has allergy induced eczema. I got her the star, roller ball and bumpy ball and while she was super excited to try them, having picked her colours, after a week of reinforcing her to use it when she was itchy she gave up as they didn’t help. Disappointing as I spent well over £100 on the products, which feels so expensive to pay for something which you don’t know if it will work. They didn’t provide itch relief compared to significantly cheaper alternatives (hairbrush with soft ends).
UPDATE: The company reached out based on my review and we’re happy to refund the order which I really appreciate.

A must for anyone with eczema
Brought the scratch star bundle back in December 2025. Having severe eczema - unsure if this was going to be helpful. I had left reviewing this item until I had used it for a while
I can honestly say I use it every day. It is so useful to ‘scratch’ your skin without taking your skin off. I also use it for applying creams. In this hot weather it’s great to cool your skin too. Although it seems expensive - it’s not when you realise just how good it is and how much you use it. I would definitely recommend buying one.

Not worth the money
Not worth the money. Doesn’t stay cold, can still cause skin damage with it. Bag of frozen peas far more effective

For the best results we recommend keeping the Scratch Star in the fridge for 1–2 hours before use and applying moisturiser to the stainless steel plate so it glides gently over the skin. It should always be used with a light touch, as applying too much pressure could irritate already sensitive skin.

I wanted to love this product but unfortunately it doesn't do it for me
I really wanted to love this product, especially with the price I paid for it but it just doesn't really hit the way I expected it to. Unfortunately I don't feel myself reaching for it as the sensation isn't comparable to scratching for me. It does something, but not really enough.
My elbows are one of the itchiest parts of my bodies and the scratch star is too hard against bony areas. I understand there's different products that the company sells that would probably suit this area better but I can't justify spending more after already shelling out so much. I understand why the business has to have these price points, but from a customer perspective I'd really expect it to perform better.

You're absolutely right that different areas of the body can benefit from different products. The Scratch Star is designed to mimic a fingernail-like sensation on larger areas, whereas bony areas such as elbows are often better suited to our Scratch Attack Roller. I have been suffering from eczema now for 35 years to be honest I had given up hope of finding any itch relief. I scratch myself until I bleed and then feel better. I saw this product on Facebook. I was a little dubious as I don’t purchase anything from Facebook but I looked at the reviews looked at the comments and thought it’s expensive but I’ll give it a go. I bought the whole package and I pleased with it. The little nobbly ball did not work for me, so I gave it to a friend who has eczema and he finds it to be worthwhile and helpful but for me it didn’t work. I use the star for absolutely everything. I use a tips of it for hardest to reach places and this works very very well. I’m so pleased with my product and it was worth every single PENNY so thank you so much.

Unfortunately this hasn’t worked for me. It doesn’t give me the satisfaction of scratching my eczema so I always ending putting it down. Doesn’t give any relief for me personally

Also, all of these products are amazing at room temp but out of this world after a little while in the fridge. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who struggles with skin conditions, sensory difficulties around itching, or behavioural difficulties around repetitive scratching or skin picking.

Scalp scratcher
I bought the scalp scratcher and this is excellent and preventing me scratching and picking at my scalp psoriasis. If feels like releif but without the damage from nails. I can feel my scalp beginning to heal.

I’m honestly not that impressed
I’m honestly not that impressed. These were very expensive. I purchased two for my daughters who suffer with eczema. I had high hopes that they would help. One daughter has tried so hard to use it to scratch with that it’s bruised her skin. The other daughter just tries using it on its edge to get some relief. It cost me just over £160 for two and I wish I hadn’t bothered. We have tried using them with cream and tried putting them in the fridge. They just don’t work for us.

Standalone bumpy ball is great
I bought the bumpy ball just by itself without the holder, and as an alternative to the star because the whole set up was outside of my price range. It works really well by itself, I can’t imagine how the scratching would be improved by the roller, as without it I can drag the bumps across the skin rather than just rolling them over. The ball does not reach eyelid eczema as it’s too big but works really well for the rest of the face and neck, also good for hands and elbow crease. I feel it’s a cheaper alternative to the star that doesn’t cover as large an area but you can definitely make do

Phenomenal customer service
I have suffered from chemical allergies (mainly glue and sticky things) since I was 12, they affect my feet the most. 38 years later I have tried all sorts to stop the itching nothing works. It’s almost become ritualistic.. I itch until I break skin - this could be using my nails or often to create a burn using carpet. The result has always been pain and scaring.
I purchased the finger scratch system including the bumpy ball to get into the middle of my foot. Buying was easy and efficient, and the system arrived quickly and I was excited to try it as I was having a flair because of the heat.
The puffer itch roller was fantastic and I can see that I will use this (from the fridge/freezer) to help with migraines! Unfortunately the bumpy ball was covered in a green sticky substance rendering it unusable because of my allergies.
I contacted Cosi Care immediately by email (and possibly the contact form) with some pictures. Abi responded quickly and couldn’t be more helpful. I didn’t want a refund and she sent a replacement immediately. Unfortunately, that one was covered. She then resent (and added in a scratchy star - game changer!!), but there was obviously an issue with the batch.
However Abi was responsive and apologetic. I think she sent 5 additional bumpy balls out before one come sticky free.
Abi couldn’t behave even more helpful throughout. I always think it is a reflection on a company when something goes wrong and their response to fix it. Cosi Care really performed and whilst it took a bit of time they did resolve the issue.
I am now scratching with the bumpy ball and scratch star and am blood free! What a revelation! I can only offer praise and hope this will be the end of adding scars to my feet and hobbling around!

Shipping said 5-10 days and I’ve had so…
Shipping said 5-10 days and I’ve had so many issues getting the package… it’s been over a month now. The customer service has just decided to start ignoring me. I need a refund or something, I still haven’t received my order and it’s 100% the shipping company’s fault. I would not reccomend cosicare unless they decide to divorce shipbob.

Great company
My 5 year old daughter has suffered with eczema for 3 years now and the itch is probably the worst. As she is young she cannot stop the scratching which in turn was causing her eczema to weep more often. Since purchasing the scratch star we have seen a huge improvement in her skin. She will now use her scratch star to calm the urge to scratch. The delivery of the star was also very quick. I cannot fault the customer service who have been very quick to answer any queries. Thank you very much Cosi-care for the great product and wonderful customer service.

Not Worth the Money
It claims to provide "instant itch relief," which I think is an overstatement.
I used it on my 6-month-old baby. His cheeks and ankles were flared up, itchy, and he was crying. I even put the product in the fridge before using it, but it just made him more frustrated and cry even more.
The product is also very expensive. I regret buying it because it didn't help at all. What a waste of money.
It seems you can't return the product if you're dissatisfied because of the hygiene policy. It has to be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. It would be clearer to simply say "No returns."
My £68 has gone on a product that was useless for us.
