The distinctive blue and white banded pottery owes its name to an employee who said it reminded them of the blue sky and white-crested waves of Cornwall. Today, Cornishware is a family run business based in the West Country employing over 30 people who have successfully brought production back to the UK from overseas.

Hell of a delivery!
As always fantastic service. Even though their seconds a blind man would love to see them.(probably shouldn't say that but it is an old saying)
Wish could be said about the delivery people, he lobbed it over my back gate four foot into my garden, even thought it clearly states ""FRAGILE" on the box.I was away at the time normally parcels are left with a neighbour. On my g98ate it clearly states the gate is locked because of dog and to go round the other side to the front door. Please check your delivery company. It was a good job it was so well packed.

I bought some ‘seconds’ mugs
I bought some ‘seconds’ mugs. One arrived cracked. I contacted them and sent pix at their request. They didn’t quibble, they sent me a replacement and we’re very kind in their communications. Anyone can make an error, but they did really well in making it good. Well done.

I personalized them and while they are seconds, I can’t see absolutely nothing wrong with them.

15oz mugs - decrease in product quality
It seems they have changed manufacturing and the new 15oz mugs are 105grms less than before. Doesn't have the same feel to them anymore

Hello Kevin,
We're sorry to see this review, as explained in the email we sent you this item is now made in the UK and as such the mug moulds have changed as has the clay.
It is still the same high quality we've always had and the weight won't affect the longevity of the item.

Website wording is not clear
Easy to order but items with word like Sugar,Tea & Coffee mislead you by not telling you they are special orders which cause my gift to be delayed pass the event they were ordered for. Also delivery has no way of tracking where you are in the process.
