We went to see Def Leppard and Extreme last night. The queues were ridiculous. The doors opened at 6.30pm and we didn't get into our seats until 8.20pm. We caught one Extreme song. In 25 years of goi... Se mer

Firstly... Def Leppard rocked the place.. BUT Co op live.. what a joke.. Queue that went on for miles. Staff really unhelpful. As we got closer a member of staff sent us and others to another doo... Se mer

We had an excellent first visit to this…
We had an excellent first visit to this new arena on 9/7/25 to see ELO. Arrived early, there was a queue to get in but doors were opened early than scheduled & we got through security etc quickly and efficiently by friendly staff. Drinks & food are expensive, but this is nothing new at a music venue! Free water filling points are available. No queues in the loos which were spotless. We were sat in the floor area in B1 & found the seats comfortable and not a problem. The show was fantastic despite Jeff Lynn having a broken hand & struggling physically a bit towards the end of the show. The sound/ acoustics in particular are brilliant in this new arena.
We decided to drive to the venue. Paid to park on a private drive about 10 mins walk away, which worked out brilliantly. Had no problem getting out of the arena at the end of the show & we were soon on our way home.
We found the Co-op Arena an impressive, clean new music venue & will happily return again!
Not very well designed
Not very well designed. No stewards guiding cars out.
Worst thing was the speakers covering the main screens so you couldn't see anything!
When you spend £450 on tickets you expect to see them.
Plus side - ELO were superb :)
Backstage club saved queuing
Went to see the legend Stevie Wonder and had a great experience. Paid extra for the backstage club and doors opened at 5 30pm and no problem getting in and seated. We got a free drink but drinks are pricey and you need to get there early to get seats! Overall a good experience
Mary J concert
I went to see Mary J Blige on the 4th of July. Mary was great and did her thing but I will never go to another concert at coop live. I waited so long to see Mary again. Get to this place and I’m on floor seats and couldn’t see her!! I was shocked. They had this huge screen behind Mary that they did not use to record her performing. They used it for screen saver and a video or two. That stadium is so big so many people and they didn’t use the screen!! That was the worst thing I’ve seen in a long time. I was very disappointed. Seats were tight and cramped too. Was not a great experience.
Dreadful
Dreadful experience at Stevie Wonder concert on 5/7/25, queued over an hour to get in, only just caught the start of the show-many didn't.
Overpriced drinks and food.
No legroom, packed too tightly in, very cramped and uncomfortable.
Will never return!!
Stevie Wonder
Arrived by car. Parking in pre booked blue area all straightforward. Queue to get in moved fast took about 10 minutes to get in so quick. We arrived fie 6.30 even though Stevie not on stage until 8pm. Plenty of space inside and hardly any queues at bars. Drinks price way too much £9 a pint. Good view of stage in block 112. Excellent concert. On leaving massive queue for ladies toilets. 20 mins to get out of car park. Gridlocked traffic all the to M62 took 1 hour to go 4 miles. Probably would not return. A few years ago my daughter could not get a tram so missed train back to Liverpool so had to pay for a taxi.
Co op live dead and should be buried. …
Went to see Stevie Wonder who was fantastic the coop however was not will never return. Stairs to seats were dark and steep leg room was tight. No escape route when at the top area. Screen way to small lighting was useless sound was good thanks to Stevie. Price not your every day shop £3.50 can of water disgusting food or the lack of it. No thank you. Staff were nice Stevie amazing venue rubbish come on at the prices charged we surely can do better.
Money making machine!!
Money making machine!!
We were there at Stevie Wonder’s concert yesterday. The show was great. However, there was no public transport at 11 pm, no trams or buses. People were asked to walk all the way into the Manchester which took more then one hour!!
Shoutout Roze!
Although they have a long way to go with some changes they need making, I have to say it is one of the safest, securest arenas I have attended, and the staff are all so lovely. Big shout out to Roze who went out of her way to make sure my experience was accessible and enjoyable! A lot of area for improvement generally, that would take me ages to sum up, but already so promising. Had an amazing time.
Stevie Wonder Concert.
Once outside the venue it took 30 minutes to enter after joining a very long queue.Stevie Wonder was on stage by the time we were sat down.
Shambles!
Went to see Stevie Wonder, shambles getting in had to queue literally outside the Ethiad Stadium on the otherside! Not easy to get to and no restaurants or bars near by. Inside beers pumps etc not working, too many queues.I'll be sticking to the AO Arena
No structure for entering
Had to queue for over an hour to get in to see Stevie Wonder. He started 20 minutes late but people were still probably queuing.
Been to venues as big or bigger and never had the issues this has. Should have been sorted after being open so long!!
Reception Person Ellie 10 Stars
I can only pass comment on the reception staff Ellie Johnson I had an issue today and she was the most pleasant helpful amazing person and her customer service was beyond my expectations.Thank you Elle you’re a star I hope your management team appreciates you.
Ultra cramped
For a purpose built concert hall the seating is appalling.
Although sound and views from the gods was pretty good... The lack of space was awful. Barely enough room for someone to walk by even when everyone stood up.. The seats are very very tightly packed together with no leg room. For the ridiculous prices charged for gigs here and the constant advertising of it being the best purpose built concert venue it was extremely disappointing. Compared to somewhere like the ovo in Glasgow it's just awful. Ill not be returning.
Don't expect the seat you book
We booked a wheelchair space and companion, turned up, they wanted a non ambulant person to walk down stairs, and along to middle row. 2 staff on for ticket problems, massive queues, lots missed the start of concert, people had tickets blocked, all given lower value tickets instead. People by passi g parking queues, and not being scanned
.. so why did we pay and pre book when chancers didn't....
Disabled loo didn't flush, toilet paper was trapped and unusable.
Security wise no large bag thing didn't appear adhered too. People.with carrier bags.
Maz who worked there sorted us eventually, without her I was walking out!
Staff just stated same response contact where got tickets!
Also, non disabled using toilet, who thought as she was staff... but on a night off watching concert gave her the right to use the loo...
Enough said
Terrible venue (Too big and rip off prices)
Terrible venue, been twice 1st time in December thought it might be a one off but went on Saturday for Pulp and it was worse. Massive queues outside (20min to get in) inside at bar (30min and gave up) toilets (not enough). Went back to bar at 8.20 to be told IPA sold out, went back at 9pm to another bar no draught beer only warm cans!! bought 4 330mm cans of cider for £28.80 (absolute rip off) exiting told to walk back on canal as it was quicker. Venue is too big no staff and to run out of beer is a joke. Terrible venue even though Pulp were amazing!!
Chris brown
Had us all queuing outside for 3 hours all the way around the eithad, whilst my partner was in a medical boot, had him standing for this amount of time in agony,
We arrived at 6 when the doors were due to open,
Doors didn’t open for another 1.5 hours due to a production issue, even though it was due to start at 7,
Missed Bryson tiller as the opening act and missed the beginning of Chris brown,
No refunds or compensation offered ether!
This place is an absolute joke
This place is an absolute joke. This was our 2nd visit and will definitely be the last. Unfortunately, last night was even worse than the first. The queues are massive. They simply don’t have enough facilities to handle the volume of people. 30 mins waiting at the Bar for a Drink. The service is so slow and when you get there don’t be surprised if they have run out of beer. You nearly fall on the floor at the price. £68.00 for 4 x 2 pint Glass of Grolsch. This was during the Gig not before the Gig. Lucky only 2 of us went to bar so at least the other 2 saw the full show. Not a patch on the Manchester Arena. Outclassed in every single area. The Co-Op have a lot of issues that they need to sort out. However, why would they bother. They have a captive audience at sellout shows buying beer at £9 a pint. They obviously don’t care as can be seen by the many unanswered complaints and 1 star reviews. Any other business area would fail with constant 1 star review. I also assume that this why there is no link on their website for Trustpilot.
Dreadful. Worst venue I’ve ever been to
Worst venue I’ve ever been to. Disorganised, not enough toilets, endless queues everywhere you look that just don’t move (that’s bars, toilets, merch), screens in the main hall not working properly, insane prices and sound was nothing special. Parking is a rip off, and badly organised. This is the kind of place that makes you think twice even if it’s your favourite band. Dreadful in every respect.
Shambles
Well, after problems at Pitbull and Robbie it was iron maiden time. We booked the before and after show club. Only when we went for our seats we found there was no seats for us on the disabilities platform! We had paid for 112 row 24 327 328 however when we got there the steward said there were no seats! What had we paid for then? My sons autistic, dyspraxic with learning disabilities with fibromyalgia and walks with a stick...where was they supposed to put us then? The old steward kept looking over my son had a panic attack which led to medics and no show what's so ever...lost money lost show thanks to an incompetent steward and a problem with the seating....CO OP LIVE IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND A TOTAL DISGRACE.....NEVER AGAIN WILL WE WASTE MONEY ON THESE IDIOTS
