I have been trying to arrange a viewing for a week and no one answers or gets back to me. Not the way to go to sell your house.

Whilst I wasn't allocated the property I applied for, I found their knowledge regarding shared ownership extremely helpful. They fully explained the application and allocation process and explained in full about the affordability checks that I hadn't previously been advised of. They also offered an alternative property for me to view as I was not allocated my first choice.

Quick summary;
Sold my shared-ownership property which meant I had to use the "Estate Agent" the housing association used, which in this case was Complete Moves.

Firstly, I'm not sure how they can class themselves as an Estate Agent;
- They are 99.9% of the time unreachable by phone (phone contact being a pre-requisite for a quick & seamless estate agent experience).
- Once my emails were finally acknowledged after several chasers, it seemed to be a different person dealing with my listing each time, which of course means explaining past nuances & bits of information over & over.
- (If you're unaware) Complete Moves didn't facilitate any viewings. So as the seller I had to not only be present for the viewings to show prospective buyers around, but I also had to deal directly with them to arrange availability.
...continued...this was also made more difficult given that my personal email & mobile number were given out by Complete Moves to ANY individual that showed interest in the property. Meaning I was inundated with messages & voicemails from random people I had no idea had even asked to view the property.
- Lastly (& this is where I really lost all faith in them) was the response to my complaint from their "CEO". I use speech marks here because his attitude & inability to handle or even acknowledge a genuine complaint from a customer was laughable. I was made to feel like I was the problem & what I was saying was totally untrue.

If you're in the unfortunate position that I was in, whereby you NEED to use these people due to Housing Association restrictions, do so ONLY for the time you have to. Once your SO property has been on the market for 6-8 weeks & you can use source your own, independent Estate Agent, do so immediately! Save yourself the hassle, stress & additional work (technically the absurd fee they charged upon completion should be owed to me for basically doing their job for them).

Unbelievably unprofessional and very odd company.

I have been trying to get in contact with Complete Moves for two weeks to make an offer on a property (I am a cash buyer, can pay cash up to £400k, and chain free) but they just never reply to phone calls or emails, but completely ghost prospective buyers, lie to you that you'll be called at a certain time but never do.

Reception are extremely rude and claim ALL the properties listed on the website are "gone" - why not remove them then? How can an estate agent not have a single property currently for sale? There are properties still listed on their website two weeks after being told those properties are not available - why on earth are they not removing sold properties from the site?

Unbelievable that an estate agent thinks it's acceptable to ghost customers for two weeks.

This is very odd and I don't fully believe it's an actual estate agency.

I wasn't sure where to start with selling my home; when I found out usual estate agency fees (5% for me!) I looked for other options and came across Complete Moves. Service was fantastic, even more so for the low fixed fee I paid.

Michelle was very knowledgeable, friendly she made us feel at ease. She was very professional and would patiently answer all of our questions and helped throughout the process.
