Worst customer service ever. its impossible to get a hold of someone to fix my problem. I am still waiting for explanations on a surcharge

Charged me twice for a trip. Trying so hard to get my money back but they seem to don't care and happy to steal money. I strongly suggest to check your card all the time because you cannot trust them

I have an Open Plus membership. On a day trip, I was charged 40% more than by having no plan. I called and talk to a supervisor just to find out that they "do not recommend to aquire an Open Plus membership". No additional comments. I will never use this service again nor recommend to aquire a plan or membership.

Don't.
Take the bus, walk or even get yourself a bike. It'll save you the headache while saving the planet. This company has the monopoly over a useful service...on paper. However, they do not handle it well: Bad customer service, bad management, errors in billing...

I used one of Station cars. When I arrived to drop off the car, there was no parking space available as a FLEX car was occupying the spot assigned for station cars.
I called customer service and received a terrible service, first of all, the person did not let me finish explaining and told me that what I had to do was to leave the car in a 24-hour parking area, they told me that that, was the protocol. I explained to them several times that I had to leave the car in the station as the regulation states, and that the FLEX car should not be there, it was some other user who did wrong.
The call lasted almost an hour, with silences in which I was not told what was going on even though I asked for information, several times they repeated to me that I should leave the station car anywhere, even after explaining that this was neither the procedure for station cars, neither possible since the parking availability is limited in my area.
After a lot of patience and bad treatment, they offered me to unlock the FLEX car and look for a parking spot on the street for that car. I did what I had to do at that moment to be able to leave the station car. But there is a reason why I booked a station car and that is that I did not wanted to look for parking spots around town.

A fuir absolument… j ai utilisé la voiture en tout est pour tout 5 jours peut-être… sans faite bcp de km… ils m’ont facturé 550€

Over all is it a great company to have in the Neighborhood, but I had a ugly experience with them overcharged me. Communauto if you see the Review you should know that you owe me Money and Apology. And btw the slowest app I ever used which that make me difficulties to end my trip and I over paid.. but again it’s a great company when they will give better customer service, and refund when there app work slow.

CommunAuto... Be very careful of the way they charge as it is already confusing. I am charged a penalty for returning the vehicle late & my original bill would have been $46.41 for 4.75 hours but a $40.00 late fee was applied for not bringing it back sooner... just over 30 minuted late...
Oh, & when I brought back early during a diffrent reservation, they did not credit anything to my account rather they charge me the full amount.
May be negligence to some point on my part as I am still learning how their charges work (& vs turo.com & other competitors, etc...) but I feel like CommunAuto GOUGES you when ever possible so be very careful beforehand.
Also, they are not easy to get in contact with by telephone & when I did finally get someone on the line they offered my a small credit but when I told them I want them to put me back on the basic plan (which was upgraded only a few months ago & costed me about $110.00 for the year), they said they can't reimburse me, not even pro rata. Not a reassuring feeling about this company as a whole & definitely looking into other options.

J'ai réservé une communauto dans une station. La voiture ne s'est jamais dévérouillée, le temps d'attente avant de pouvoir parler à un agent a pris 40min, aprés une quinzaine de minutes il arrive à débloquer la voiture, qui se met ensuite à sonner au contact de la clé. De nouveau un 10-15 min avant de trouver une solution. Au total, plus d'une heure de retard sur mon heure de réservation pour un soucis technique, et aucun geste commercial proposé. Après réclamation on m'offre ce qui correspond à un 11$, soit 10% du cout de mon trajet. Ce n'est clairement pas à la hauteur de mes attentes puisque j'avais besoin de la voiture à une heure précise pour un RDV que j'ai donc manqué.

Saviez vous qu une fois une voiture réservée vous pouviez ouvrir n importe quel véhicule communauto avec la carte ? Cool non? Cela signifie que n importe qui peut partir avec votre véhicule deja réservé entre autres. Est ce que ça marche dans la rue avec un véhicule communauto garé ? Ben oui faut croire. Gros problème quand même! Franchement faut tout changer !

J'ai réservé une voiture avec siège enfant pour 4 jours et un autre client l'a prise pendant 2 jours. Donc j'ai du annuler des sorties avec mon petit fils.
