My husband and I could not agree on…
My husband and I could not agree on paint colour. We finally took the step of hiring a colour trend colour consultant and that was our best decision ever. Heidi from the Dundalk office spent alot of time with us and guided us to a good combination for our northerly facing apartment.
Wall 2 Wall Decor was the painting company we used. I had asked for some recommendations of good painters from Colour Trend. I contacted and spoke with 5 or 6 recommended by Colour Trend. The job finished today and we are thrilled with the work done. An electric sander was used to sand all of the surfaces so they were well prepared for the paint. The walls look as smooth as satin with the selected paints. We are so thrilled with the entire experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Colour Trend from colour and design consultant, quality of paint and our selected painters Wall 2 Wall Decor.

Hi Joe, Our paints are Any Colour, Any Finish, meaning they can be used for both interior and exterior applications. There are no shades that are exclusively for interior or exterior use. I received the sample strip but there…
I received the sample strip but there was no additional little note from the company! In my opinion you should ALWAYS put a little letter in as well!
Looking at your answer that you sent me, saving paper for the environment, I still think that a recycled little note to a potential customer would have a big impact! If not in a piece of paper, a note in advance by email could do the business.

Why so difficult to open a tin of paint?
Got a colour match using colour trend paint from a local shop. Opening the tin was stressful, husband opened it when he came home, so half my day gone of planned painting. Next day I tried to open again, 20 mins of sweating, cursing & an injury to my finger, I gave up, there appears to be no grip on lid. Not being able to open a can of paint would be a deal breaker for me. Shame as the paint went on very nice the day before, but day wasted today just because I can’t open it.

We’re sorry to hear you had difficulty opening your tin of paint. Our cans are designed to create a secure, airtight seal to protect the quality of the paint inside.

We recommend inserting your tin opener between the lip and groove of the tin, then turning it sideways to gently create space between the two edges. Working around the perimeter this way should help release the seal without damage.

Waste of money
Waste of money, used online color consultant. Didn't advise based on what I needed but a generalised scheme that I could have done myself. Very disappointed, didn't use your paint as a result.

After reviewing your consultation with our consultant, it appears that you were requesting more of a colour match rather than a full consultation. Please understand that while we always aim to help as much as possible, it’s not possible to guarantee a 100% accurate colour match from digital images due to variations in lighting, screen displays, and camera settings.
Our consultant did their best to provide you with exterior colour schemes that would complement your home and align with your brief. We hope these suggestions still offer some inspiration as you move forward with your project.
Just to clarify, our consultation service is primarily intended for customers looking for guidance on colour schemes, creative inspiration, and a more flexible, open-minded approach to their space. In situations where precise colour matching is needed, as in your case, we did mention during the consultation that an in-home visit or a visit to one of our stores would be a better way to achieve the most accurate result.

Quality paint, elegant colours
We had some disappointing experiences ordering samples of paint from a local hardware store that seem to have no relation to the swatches we were looking at. We decided to order a number of sample pots directly from Colourtrend instead. Absolute night and day - I strongly recommend ordering from them to test out your paints. We selected one and are delighted with the results. The paint is high quality and goes on smoothly.
