Was sent multiple emails offering…

Was sent multiple emails offering raffle entries, when I clicked the link they asked for a photo of my ID and suspended me when I didn't want to provide it. Also they didn't pay out the first time I did their surveys a few years ago. Scam.

Won’t pay you

They paid me out after my first survey, but then when I tried to withdraw again after earning a bunch from referring people (like $300+) they said the payment was delayed and never responded to me. Scam company

College Pulse does not pay you!

I've used College Pulse for years now (and should probably stop at this point). You only sometimes receive compensation for the surveys you complete, and that is only after you pester customer service via email. College Pulse is an extremely unprofessional company. I can't believe they openly scam people!

wasn't paid for survey, no communication from support

Completed a survey that was sent to me in an email, and once the survey was submitted, was hit with an error page and a message saying that a support ticket had been created. After following up with support multiple times of the last 2 weeks, I have heard absolutely nothing. At best, support is nonexistent. At worst, they are scammers with no intention of paying participants out for surveys.

SCAM

SCAM! They tell you get gift cards to fill out their survery! and after you answer tons of questionsb, it says the survey is over congrats! but when it comes to the gift or money they promised it says you are not qualified!

Screening exists because studies need specific samples, but eligibility should be clear before you invest your time, and your experience shows we can do better there. no sign of promised 'reward'

They reached out via my college email address with a survey promising $5 for roughly 10 minutes of my time. I filled out multiple questions, then reached a screen saying (paraphrasing) they were not interested in people with my background.
No sign of the promised payment, and the reply-to field on their email bounces as undeliverable. At best this is misleading -- they mean that you only get the promised money if you fulfill some hidden criteria in their survey. At worst, this is fraudulently promising something they have no intention of giving the vast majority of survey respondents.

Poor Methodology

Am in a graduate program, and they reached out via my university email address. "We’re conducting a quick survey to learn more about free speech on campus, and we’d love to hear your perspective!" Filled out a few introductory demographics questions, including on my political tendencies, which lean left. The survey then told me they were "looking for participants with a different background" (paraphrased, I closed the tab).

I can understand wanting results that match the population's demographics, but that just means they should be getting *more* results from underrepresented groups, not excluding respondents.

The combination of "free speech" and locking me out immediately after answering my political leaning is both ironic and concerning for their methodology and results.
