I would classify my recent experience with Colibri as an EPIC FAILURE! This was my first time shipping a private vehicle. I did my research, learned about this process, made sure to check online reviews, licensing, incorporation, and even physical location verses incorporation (because for a first-time shipper I quickly learned this was like entering a virtual world of Tony Soprano). I selected Colibri because the sales and booking side was incredibly professional, timely, and communication was excellent. However, when it came down the to the Colibi’s execution, and getting a carrier to transport my vehicle in the contracted timeframe, for the agreed upon price, I was strung along for days; ultimately Colibri failed to meet their obligations creating a crisis situation for. In the end, I had to cancel airline reservations at a significant financial loss and drive the vehicle myself over 2,100 miles (30 driving hours), missing my family’s holiday party! The first driver Colibri got cancelled. This driver communicated with me directly and professionally. At this time, I reached back to Colibri and asked if I should be worried because it was now Wednesday and the car absolutely had to be picked up by Friday as I was flying out early Saturday morning. Colibri told me “not to worry” that there was “100% chance that (they would) find another good carrier company” … but this did not happen. Each day I was told the next morning the car would be picked up. When they finally failed to perform, it created a crisis situation with cars, airline reservations, etc. costing me both time and money. Some of the crisis could have been mitigated if Colibri had been more realistic, or communicated more realistically with me so that I could have cancelled airline reservations sooner and mitigated my financial loss. In the end they asked yet again to pick up “the next day” but of course they had been saying this for THREE DAYS NOW and every day they had failed to meet their promised pick-up day/time. Why would I pay several hundred dollars to change airline reservations only to be yanked around again? I would not recommend this company. If you do decide to book them, make sure you have lots of time, plan on being flexible to meet their schedule, and plan on everything being late. Don’t be overly wooed by the front end of the process – which will leave you with a false sense of security – because the real pain is in your sore tailbone after 2,100 miles of driving the car yourself!

Charley is amazing. We needed our inoperable vehicle transported back to our home two hours away. I'd never dealt with something like this before. Within an hour he'd reached out to me personally, located closest towing company & negotiated rate below any other competitors. My car was delivered within 6 hrs from start to finish. He even followed up to make sure delivery went smoothly. Would definitely recommend going to him for any vehicle transportation needs.
