I originally left Coco Sydney a positive review before receiving my order. I am now changing it to one star and strongly recommend that Australians think very carefully before giving this company their money.

I ordered two pairs of jeans for $97.43.

The first pair eventually arrived and looked nothing like the quality portrayed in the advertising. The distressing/rips were crudely finished, stitching was terrible, the button was loose and the fabric was so uncomfortable it made my legs itch. In my opinion, these jeans are simply not wearable.

The second pair never arrived, despite Coco Sydney emailing me to say they had been delivered. My wife was home all day and there was no delivery. I checked immediately after receiving their delivery notification — nothing.

I contacted Coco Sydney requesting a full refund. Their response was to claim the first jeans corresponded with their website and suggest my concerns were about “appearance, fit and overall preference.” They then offered me a “replacement” where I would have to pay another 30% of the price.

So after receiving one extremely poor-quality product and not receiving the second product at all, their proposed solution was essentially for me to give them more money.

What also concerns me is how I came to leave my original positive review. After my first purchase, I was encouraged to leave a review in return for a 50% discount on another purchase — before I had discovered what the actual product quality and service were like. I unfortunately used that discount to buy the second pair.

I wish I had researched this company properly before ordering.

My advice: read the independent negative reviews before purchasing anything from Coco Sydney.

Based on my experience, I believe Australian consumers deserve far better protection from businesses operating this way. I would never purchase from Coco Sydney again, and I am pursuing the return of my money.

CocoSydney has a fantastic website that is easy to navigate and full of detailed, helpful information. The beautiful photos gave me a clear idea of exactly what I was buying, which made shopping with confidence so easy. From start to finish, the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. It was a pleasure doing business with CocoSydney, and I wouldn't hesitate to shop with them again.

I am new to dropshipping as a business model, which Coco&Sydney appears to be. Coco&Sydney provided quick replies to me after I ordered a $100.00 black jacket - a bargain - but the whole process was "clunky". I got messages that my item was on its way only to be told that it was held up. In the end, the item was indeed on its way, but the company's emails did not seem to know that Australia Post had the jacket. My feeling is that Coco&Sydney is on a learning curve. They clearly have access to some interesting outlets - so be adventurous. Mark

Do not buy from this company. It’s a scam and you won’t get what you ordered, the clothing is cheap and made in china.

Don't lie . You are refusing to send me a return label. I have sent you photos and numerous emails and yuou keep stalling. Now you want me to take a video with the clothes on. They dont fit. Just send me the return address so i can send these clothes back and hopefullu never hear from you again.do not buy from this company. the dresses are nothing like the pictures and they won't respond to my request to send the items back.

14 Aug. I have received an email back from this store offering 30% the price I paid to keep these awful clothes. There return policy clearly states you can return the items if they do not meet your expectations or fit but they are refusing to take back the returns . NEVER EVER AGAIN

The ordering process was very easy and fast. The clothing quality is outstanding. The price of clothing is great.
