As noted, all pre-order dates are estimated.

The original estimated dispatch was for last week, however, there has been a slight delay from our factory, and we are now expecting the stock to arrive next week. As soon as it lands, your order will be shipped immediately.

Not good.

We are really sorry if this was missed at the time, however this is the reason why your order hasn't been shipped out yet. We certainly are not a small business abstaining from shipping your order. DO NOT ORDER

I would strongly advise not using this company under any circumstances.

I ordered a dress from them which they claimed had been delivered, but I never received it. I contacted their customer service asking for more information about where it had been delivered, as nothing had arrived at my address. They provided no useful details and simply said they would raise an investigation with the courier.

After waiting 20 days, they came back with the “outcome” that the courier said it had been delivered — therefore, in their view, it was delivered. That was the end of it. They refused to offer a refund or send a replacement, despite the fact that I never received the item.

The whole process was extremely frustrating and unhelpful. There was no attempt to actually resolve the situation or support the customer. Very poor customer service and a complete lack of accountability.

I am now seeking legal advice regarding this matter.

I would not recommend this company to anyone.

UPDATED – Just to confirm for anyone reading this review after seeing the company’s response: this was the first time I have ordered from them.

The image provided on the tracking page as “delivered” was simply a photo of a bag, with no additional information or context showing where it had been left.

I checked with neighbours and also contacted Royal Mail. My partner and I both work full-time, so the parcel was definitely not delivered directly to us.

The company also attempted to get this review removed, which says a lot

When you contacted us to report that your parcel had not been received, we immediately raised a formal investigation with Royal Mail. This is the correct process required by the courier and it can take up to 20 working days while they review the delivery scan, GPS data, and confirm details with the local delivery office.

At the conclusion of this investigation, Royal Mail confirmed that the parcel was scanned as delivered to the delivery address provided at checkout. As a small independent business, we must rely on the findings of the courier’s investigation where delivery has been confirmed through their tracking and delivery systems.

We completely understand how frustrating it can be when a parcel cannot be located after being marked as delivered. In these situations, Royal Mail typically advises customers to check with neighbours, other household members, or their local delivery office in case the parcel has been placed in a safe place.

In some cases where parcels appear to go missing more than once at a particular address, couriers recommend that the recipient contacts their local delivery office directly so they can review any potential delivery issues associated with that address.

We always aim to support our customers wherever possible and are happy to provide any further documentation from the Royal Mail investigation should you wish to follow this up with them directly.

When the parcel was reported as missing, we immediately raised a formal investigation with Royal Mail in line with their non-delivery procedure. As part of that investigation, Royal Mail reviewed the delivery scan, GPS data and the delivery records held by the local delivery office. Honestly so so, the quality of trousers was not the best so I returned them, which is fine, it happens. But the after service is total nonsense. In their return policy they give you a window to return the trousers - at your own cost. Again, it’s probably a new company, that’s fine by me, but then the refund they issue only 14 business days after the inspection of goods. Now, this is clearly done not to disrupt their business cash flow but that shouldn’t be customer’s job to ensure their cash flow is steady. Find a different way of managing your financial side, this is NOT it!

We’d like to clarify that our 14 working day refund timeframe is not in place for cashflow reasons, as suggested. Returned orders are a continuous and normal part of any retail business, so refunds are processed regularly regardless of the timeframe. The policy simply allows our small team adequate time to carefully receive, inspect, log and process each return correctly.

This policy has always been the same and is clearly displayed on our website so customers can make an informed decision before purchasing. These terms are accepted at checkout when placing an order.

As a small, family-run business with a small team, we operate very differently to large corporations. Each returned item is individually checked and processed in order, and we’re pleased to confirm that your refund was completed fully within the stated terms.

We appreciate that not every product is right for every customer, and we’re sorry the trousers weren’t for you. However, we believe our aftercare and policies are transparent, fair and clearly communicated.

REFUND PROCESS IS A JOKE!
They received my return 19th December. Today is 16th January and I STILL have no refund. They keep saying they’ve “processed it their side” and there’s nothing more they can do. I think they do it so you raise it with the bank and the bank refund you for fraud and they can keep it. Because any other small company would offer a bank transfer at this point. For starters I was very patient and did not complain, but now they’ve said there’s nothing more they can do and reading reviews this has happened more than once

However, we would like to categorically clarify that we do not operate in the way suggested. We do not, and would never, withhold customers’ money or rely on banks to refund customers on our behalf.

Your refund has been fully processed on our side, and we have provided evidence of this both via email and other oplatforms, including screenshots confirming the transaction. Once a refund is processed, funds typically take up to 24 hours to clear, however banking clearance times are entirely outside of our control and can vary depending on the bank.

We would not offer a bank transfer in this situation, as the refund has already been issued and doing so would risk a duplicate payment being made. At this stage, the most effective next step is to contact your bank directly, as they are able to see pending or processing funds that are no longer visible to merchants.

We appreciate that delays are frustrating, and we have done everything within our control to resolve this and provide transparency throughout. We remain happy to assist further should your bank require any additional confirmation from us.

I’ve purchased a few bits from the girls now (summer & winter clothes). Always beautiful handcrafted garments. These are so unique at such a competitive price. I get compliments whenever I wear them and I love that they’re more or less ‘One off’s’. The quality is amazing I’ve never had any problems. I get a lovely little note as gratitude for my purchases and always quick delivery. One of my favourite boutiques ever!

We’re really pleased to hear you loved the clothes, and we’re sorry to hear the refund process didn’t meet your expectations. As a small, family-run UK business, we don’t have the same automated returns systems as large retailers. Each return is received, logged, and then quality checked to make sure everything is accounted for and in the correct condition before a refund is processed.

Our policy is to ask customers to allow up to 14 working days for refunds once a return arrives with us. That said, more often than not we complete refunds well within this timeframe, but during peak periods it can take the full window due to our small team and careful checking process.

Regarding pricing, we completely understand that value is personal. Our prices reflect the reality of making most of our garments in the UK, paying fairly, and producing in smaller batches rather than mass production. We also invest heavily in our own exclusive prints, designs, and development, which we take a huge amount of pride in.

If you’d like to share your order details with us, we’d be more than happy to look into your return/refund specifically and ensure everything has been handled correctly. We have noticed that the referenced order number, #94694 was not returned to us for refund/exchange.

Don’t waste your money!!

Well….. where do I start!
I discovered this company a few years ago and loved the unusual designs they offered. This is what initially what attracted me to them! I have given this company more than enough times to now realise they’re not up to the standard they should be for the prices they charge! Firstly, I have ordered a number of items which state XL and as advised on their website size 16. These have all been returned to them one of which from memory was a sequin skirt and I was told by customer services that they do come up small! Well, if that’s the case don’t advertise it as a size 16! I’ve also returned a bow jumper as it had a mark on the front and the label inside was falling off to be told that the label wasn’t seen as a fault but they accepted back. Just to also note, all these returns I had to pay for so was out of pocket! I gave up on the company for a short while, before they then launched their so called Luxe range! Again, the funky designs and patterns immediately caught my attention! I should have stayed clear! I’ve wasted so much money now, that I feel impelled to write a negative review because I’ve had such an awful experience! I’ve ordered the animal print balloon trousers and mini crop top, the unicorn balloon trousers and top (ordered this as a celebrity wore this, should've known better!)
I’ve also ordered the lobster wide leg trousers (most recent order)

The unicorn trousers and top I have worn once on holiday last year and all the stitching is coming undone and the colour has all faded on one wash! Similarly with the animal print balloon trousers I have worn these twice (not even worn the matching top yet) and the colour fade in comparison to the unworn top is embaressing! Not to mention, all the stitching on the sides of the pocket has all come undone and the back of the trousers the stitching is all coming apart! The lobster trousers I ordered in an XXL which in theory should be a size 20! I’m a 16, and these arrived and I couldn’t even get up my thighs! These have since gone back! With regards to the animal print trousers I have emailed customer services and they’ve offered to ‘reinforce’ the stitching for me giving me the impression that they think I have stretched them weird! I don’t think ordering two supposedly luxury brand custom trousers that cost me well over £100 should be reinforced do you! I wanted a new pair and they would not offer this to me! So I now have a pair of expensive faded trousers unwearable! Not to also mention, when, I originally ordered these they sent me the original pair of XXL trousers with the wrong labelling inside and admitted that the manufacturers got the sizing wrong! I thought this was the case of the lobster trousers I originally ordered too but when emailing customer services of course I was wrong! The customer always seems to be wrong with this company!

I want to also point out this companies return policy is an absolute shambles you have to pay to return items and then have to wait at least a month for your money back if not more! This company should not be charging this sort of money for cheap products that are poorly made! I am so disappointed as a customer and I genuinely am really sad to write this review but I feel that it’s only fair to others! Keep your money don’t waste it you can order similar items on Shein for a fraction of the price!

Just to update on the reply from Cocoboo below. As stated in my previous complaint I had worn and washed the garment once so on reflection as a company regardless of test washing etc your garments do not wash well and they fade after one wash and the stitching comes undone. I have followed all the hand cool wash instructions needless to say that one pair (unicorn trousers) didn’t even have a wash care label in it so I hand washed these any way on the side of precaution. Regardless if your fabrics are sourced or made in the UK doesn’t make my experience with you any different nor have you offered a pleasurable customer service experience which is in no relation to tour fabrics! Poor customer service as well as poorly made garments. You would think that paying over £100 for these garments that they wouldn’t fall apart after one wash but you do not seem to address this issue at all. Avoid!

We want to reassure you and others reading that all of our garments are designed and manufactured here in the UK using 100% cotton and quality fabrics. Every piece is test-washed and quality checked before launch, so issues with colour or stitching are very uncommon.

Where a fault has occurred after wear, we offered a complimentary repair as a goodwill gesture, which is within trading standards guidance, even though the garment had already been worn and washed. This ensures customers can continue enjoying their pieces rather than being left without use of them.

On sizing, our ranges are custom made and unique, and while we provide guidance on our website, fit can vary slightly across different styles. We always welcome feedback on this to help us improve clarity.

Regarding returns, our policy is in line with many independent fashion brands. As a small, family-run business, we are unable to absorb return shipping costs in the same way that large fast-fashion retailers can, but we do process refunds within the stated timeframe on our website.
