The squeeze is not worth the juice
purchased the shoulder bag at the Ideal Home Show, was told just pop it in hot water for 5 minutes after use to make ready for reuse, but in fact it needs 15 minutes in a pan with the heat with temperature at or near boiling. it needs to be a large pan as well, so a lot of energy (electric ) and effort, just not worth it.
Missing item from show
thought at first they was a complete rip off for the price as brought them from a show and when arriving home the back and knee one wasn't there but after emailing this was sorted even though it took a while finally received not one but 2 which wasn't expecting so
Great service nothing was an issue

Clix Therapy Heat Packs Review: Effective, But Not Without Risks
I bought a set of Clix Therapy heat packs at the disability Expo Naidex last week, which included 4 hand heat packs, one neck/shoulders heat pack and a back/knee heat pack for £140. Yes, overpriced in my opinion.
Initially, I was not impressed. There are some good points, but also some glaring issues that shouldn’t be ignored.
Let’s start with the positives. These heat packs do what they claim when it comes to keeping targeted areas warm. Hands, knees, neck, and back all benefit from the heat, and the back heat pack in particular stands out.
Mine came with a pouch that straps around your waist with Velcro. I feel this helps retain the warmth for a surprisingly long time, making it the most effective piece in the set.
My first experience didn’t exactly inspire confidence. After following the instructions given to me and what was written on the packaging, the packs didn’t stay usable for long before hardening again.
However, things get even less impressive when it comes to usability—especially for disabled people. A bit ironic, seeing as I bought my pack at Naidex.
1. To activate the heat pack, you must flex a small silver disc inside the pack. At first, you may have to do this a few times to fully activate the pack. Not the easiest if, like me, you have dexterity and hand strength problems.
2. The product only stays hot for up to 30 minutes or so. Supposedly, this gets better the more you use them. We will see.
3. To reset the packs, I was told to put them in hot water. So, I put the hand packs in a bowl of hot water filled from my hot tap. (A bowl, however, would not be big enough for the back/knee, or the neck/shoulder packs). This did not work properly as I found the packs to harden again very quickly. I realised the water must be a lot hotter to dissolve the salt inside completely.
That’s not a minor inconvenience; it’s a significant barrier if, like me, you have weak hands, limited arm strength, or dexterity issues. Handling what needs to be quite a large saucepan of boiling water and fishing out a very hot product is, frankly, not practical—and potentially dangerous. You’re essentially forced into a situation where burns are a real risk. But boiling them this way worked much better at resetting the heat packs, as it dissolved the salt perfectly, ready for their next use.
I do wonder if it's more effort than it is worth. Only after properly boiling them in a saucepan did they reset as intended—the liquid turning clear and watery again.
So, technically, they do work… but only if you’re able to go through that process safely.
What’s worse, there’s also a concerning lack of warning about heat intensity. I gave my neck and shoulder wrap to a friend, and after using it, she was left with heat welts on her skin.
That’s not just “a bit too warm”—that’s a problem.
There’s nothing on the packaging or their website (that I can find, I have looked) that adequately warns about this risk. At the very least, there should be clear advice to use a barrier, like a tea towel, between the product and your skin.
Overall, Clix Therapy heat packs work in terms of heat delivery, particularly for the back. But the design and instructions don’t properly consider disabled users or basic safety concerns.
Between the boiling requirement and the risk of burns, it feels like the responsibility has been pushed onto the customer to “figure it out” safely.
That’s not good enough.
If you can manage the reset process safely and don’t mind paying over the odds for the packs, then they might be worth it. But if you struggle with strength, coordination, or handling hot items, these could easily do more harm than good.
Waste of mone
Bought a set from an expo for £100. Waste of money. The packs stayed warm for 45 minutes initially. Every time I’ve tried to use it since I’ve followed the instructions. By the time it’s cooled down enough to click again the packs are hard again.
Can use over and over and still great…
Can use over and over and still great heat
Pushy staff at Naidex, and very high prices
We saw Clix at Naidex 2026 and felt really hassled by the staff at the stand. He waved us over, and we couldn’t ignore him so I assumed he knew us and i’d forgotten!
Then he started giving a demo, and put multiple heat packs onto me without asking for permission (I am autistic and really don’t like being touched) bearing in mind it was a very warm convention room where we were all lowkey sweating lol
I asked to take them off and he did, but we spent 15 minutes trying to decline buying because the prices were absurd for something that seems very similar to other (cheaper) versions which—after feeling them during the demo—felt the same in my opinion?
I don’t have personal use experience as I didn’t buy, but please be wary and advocate for yourself/others!! ❤️❤️
I was sold an absolute lie yesterday!
I was sold an absolute lie yesterday!
I never write reviews but these Clix pads are expensive and I'm so disappointed I allowed myself to be lured in.
When they give you a demonstration one to feel, they have clearly just activated it as it is really warm. They then tell you the heat lasts 2 - 3 hours.
The heat lasted for no longer than 15 minutes and was barely tepid warm after that!!
Took my money and laughed at me for being so gullible.
AVOID
Total scam and waste of money!
Total scam and waste of money!! Do not buy!! I got roped into buying these at the nutcracker market (my fault!) and I have regretted it from day one. They don’t stay hot very long and then require boiling this plastic in my very expensive pots. I just didn’t think this thru. Anytime I want to use them, they need to be boiled. Now, one has burst and red dye is everywhere in my kitchen. Total scam!!
They don't respond
They don't respond, they don't share proper contact details. Apparently, they won´t sell their products.
Excellent product and excellent…
Excellent product and excellent customer care and support, we have the whole set and it’s used at least once daily all you do is pop them in a big saucepan of boiling water and simmer for a few minutes until crystals are dissolved it’s very easy
I bought a set of clix therapy heat…
I bought a set of clix therapy heat packs in November, they are genius. And work well. I had an issue with an item and after contacting customer service a replacement was sent by courier straight away. I cannot fault this company. I highly recommend the product and the company in equal measure.
TOTAL SCAM
TOTAL SCAM - DO NOT BUY THESE!!! I made the purchase of these horrible products last month. These are reusable heating pads and were stated to be very easy to reuse by warming them up in warm water for 5 minutes. I was assured that if they didn't work well, I could return them anytime as long as I had all the boxes and receipt, and they came with 5 year warranty with them.
After purchase, I tried them the next day and realized that I could not use them after using them the first time as the heating pads would not go back to their original condition as promised, no matter how long I boiled them. I immediately contacted customer service that day who asked me send them the pictures of the products with opened boxes to make sure they could see them. I did and then the next response I got was that I could not return them because the boxes were opened. This one ONE day after purchase and after as ask from the team to send me the products pictures with the boxes opened.
The company is scam, their products are scam and they should be ashamed of themselved.
A complete con job
This is a complete con. I purchased before Christmas as a gift. They worked once only . I bought from a pop up shop and that left on Christmas eve. Unable to get any refund and they were very expensive.
At the end it became obvious all…
At the end it became obvious all required information has already been given. The tool jotform is not the customers first choice.
Do NOT purchase this product
I purchased the neck and shoulder hot/cold pad on March 6, 2026 at the Arnold Classic. It worked the first time I used it but did not return to its original state after the first use. I read and followed the instructions. Clix Therapy does not stand behind the product. No refund. The third-party vendor does not have a webpage, does pick up the phone, and does not return calls. The vendor is Gusadi Co Limited. DO NOT Purchase anything from the vendor either. If I could give zero stars, I would.
So disappointed
So disappointed. Got lured in at crufts. Spent 60.00 and can't seem to get it back to being reusable. I feel so stupid, like I've been conned. Very dissatisfied
Not reusable at all l
Not reusable at all l. Have boiled multiple times for 20 minutes and the click is not activating expensive £60 when it cannot be re used
I bought clix shoulder and neck therapy…
I bought clix shoulder and neck therapy recently at a marathon expo.
The product does exactly what it is supposed to do. Brings heat relief in under a minute or two.
I contacted the company with a query , they replied the same day and can honestly say they have been brilliant to deal with . Product - 10
Customer service - 10
Thanks Clix Therapy
