I can’t recommend Cleerly highly enough. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. As a contractor, my situation wasn’t straightforward—especially with a contract that had no specified dates—and many brokers simply couldn’t help. Cleerly, however, took the time to understand my circumstances and guided me through every step with clarity and confidence.
Alasdair was outstanding from beginning to end. He explained everything clearly, patiently answered all my questions, and made what could have been a stressful process feel manageable and reassuring.
A big thank you as well to Jack G, who kept me fully informed throughout the entire process. His communication was excellent and made me feel supported and never left wondering what was happening next.

Will was brilliant from start to…
Will was brilliant from start to finish, very reassuring and was confident he could find me the right mortgage to suit my needs. Being a contractor I had previously gone through the process of getting a mortgage in principle only for it to fall through when the lender didn’t understand how my pay was structured. Will reassured me that he was used to communicating effectively with lenders about my type of work, everything was smooth and I was constantly kept up to date. I couldn’t speak more highly of this service. Will and his colleagues have been great!

Clear, reliable mortgage support from start to finish
I worked with Edward Hughes during my mortgage process, and the experience was consistently solid.
Ed was clear, responsive, and proactive throughout. He tracked rate changes closely, flagged better options as soon as they appeared, and explained the implications without overcomplicating things.
At one point, I had to be abroad during the process. Ed took this fully into account and adjusted his availability around my schedule. Even while I was away, I always felt informed and up to date, which made a real difference.
I also worked with Sasha Danilova regarding life insurance. She took the time to answer every question in detail and clearly explained how the cover works and what the service included. The information was thorough and easy to understand, which helped me make decisions with confidence
What stood out was follow-through. Nothing drifted, and I always knew where things stood. Communication was straightforward, timely, and reliable, which matters a lot in a process that can easily become stressful.

Embarrasing Situation we needed help with
We needed a re-mortgage and our situation was far from "normal" and a little embarrassing.
Alasdair Grant walked us through the whole process, understood our current situation and came up with options to move forward. Alasdair spent a lot of time searching lenders and kept me informed throughout the whole process with calls and emails.
At no point did Alasdair judge us in any way, which was very professional of him.
I asked a lot of questions and not only did Alasdair answer and go through each answer in detail, he didn't get annoyed with the amount of time I was taking to understand our options.
Overall a really really great experience with a very professional mortgage adviser.

Great experience - highly recommend
Our remortgage was complex - reverting a BTL back to residential with consideration of self-employed income with a recent format change. We had hit a wall with our previous broker. I had one meeting with Chris from Cleerly; he listened, took all the details down, and came back to use with clear solutions in a matter of days - things that were previously issues were just handled with the lender and clearly communicated. Every interaction we've had has been managed with confidence, efficiency, and kindness. We are now in our house ready for Christmas and I'm confident we'll never be looking for a new broker again.

This mortgage application has been a long process for a number of reasons outside the control of Cleerly. I went with Cleerly partly due to the individual that I had used previously. Unfortunately she moved on, but Ed Hughes (supported by Jack) managed to provide the continuity to progress the application through to offer. A last minute intervention helped me get a more favourable (and correct) offer. It makes such a difference dealing with a firm that understands the circumstances and nuances of a contractor operating through a Limited Company.

Extremely happy with our remortgage and advance payment through Ed. I'm a contractor, working inside IR35 on a temporary contract, which was proving difficult to remortgage.
