There were no snags, communication was perfect and I was able to understand what was required of me so that there were no delays. The whole process went smoothly.

Our first shipment into the U.S. was incredibly smooth and seamless. We were able to focus on our business while Clearit handled everything related to customs clearance, documents, and more.

They do a great job! Very helpful and keep me informed through the process. We will use them for all our shipments going forward.

Clearit was always vigilant to make sure I have the correct paper work in. They where willing to be part of emails from seller so as to visually review how the paper notices were being transmitted correctly.

There were some delays with my item, marks hold, etc. This was also a transition shipment which seemed to confuse some folks. I contacted Clearit and Mr. Conkrite went straight to work and received clearance before the time was up. I would definitely recommend their services. I have zero experience with this process but was curious about a couple of things I don't understand. 1). I read that items valued under $2500.00 do not require a bond. (my total value was $1559.00) 2). Mr. Cronkite sent me the suggested codes, and I was okay with them. But I looked into them further and was curious why they weren't the same codes the shipper used? I have some friends that are considering purchasing a similar item, and I advised them to contact Clearit before completing the transaction.

This was my first experience with importing anything. I was surprised that my shipment was cleared while it was still in the air!
I was a little frustrated at the time delay between my questions and your answers. Next time, I'll be more patient.

The whole process was done quickly.

Clearit makes it easy to navigate the customs paperwork process. When you have multiple shipments in progress, you have to find a way to keep track of the different ticket numbers, but as long as you know which ticket you're dealing with, things are really smooth.

You will absolutely regret using this broker. They have cost me LITERALLY $1,000's in incompetence and lack of communication. Just know that if you have ANY kind of issue, there is no one to speak to on the phone. You have to send messages and emails into a black hole. Takes days and days to responses.

Pro Tip: If you are using Freightos to book, just choose the option at booking that you "Have your own" Broker. When the forwarder you choose confirms the shipment, ask them to add THEIR Broker. This is the only way you can avoid them on Freightos.

Again....AVOID AT ALL COSTS. One of the worst companies that I have ever done business with.

Very Fast and efficient. Cannot complain with service. We are very pleased with the service. It was a great move to change brokers.

Email support alternates between slow and completely unresponsive, and there is no way to reach someone by phone. Web portal and chat is buggy and poorly designed.

Since their platform is online and requires a degree of autonomy from the user, I thought this could be a faster, cheaper solution to traditional customs brokers. I set up a trial order, submitted all documents and waited for their team to complete document review and account verification.

Over the following days, I was asked to complete the same tasks and submit the same documents multiple times, then waiting periods of 12 hours at times before receiving email replies to simple questions. After 5 (business) days of this, I was fed up and contacted a conventional broker (Livingston International).

They were polite, communicative, and efficient. It took them only 6 hours to complete new client onboarding, account verification, and document review. Again, ClearIt failed to complete these simple tasks over 5 days.

I should note that a few of the individuals I communicated with at ClearIt did seem professional, and most (but not all) of my grievances were caused by the negligence of a customer support rep named Leo. I requested the contact information of a manager so that I could file this complaint internally instead of porting it publicly like this but I did not receive contact information of any manager. If a manager at ClearIt happens to read this, I invite you to review the email history between my company and this agent, and I believe you will see my criticism is fair. I started with ClearitUSA about a month ago thinking it would help me simplify a complicated process. It did not, customer service was not helpful at all. I ended up having to find another solution. Bottom line is Clearit stalled my business operations and that just isn't acceptable.
