Absolutely outstanding! Dan and Stu were professional to the max, friendly and helpful, taking everything away and sweeping afterwards. I cannot rate Clearance and Clean Up, the call centre staff and van staff highly enough, and unequivocally recommend Clearance and Clean Up for all your refuse collection needs. A great price too. Perfection all round.

Great service
First time using this company. We booked any time during the day, but as promised we were called 45 minutes before arriving, Jordan and Conner arrived on time. Dismantled the recliners quickly, obviously had done this before, and loaded up their van, they were both polite with good manners. A great job, would recommend.

Absolutely top class service!
Absolutely top class service! Booked a garage clearance with boxes, furniture, junk etc. The guys arrived promptly, were extremely professional, courteous and friendly. Was kept informed all the way through the process to make sure everything that needed to go went. I would 100% recommend this company in a heartbeat.

No show
No show. I booked for my fridge to be picked up between 1 and 6 pm. There was no show. No pick up, no messages and I left my flat at 6.30
I left my flat to go to the shops. At 6.55 there was a message saying the were on their way. Too late
After much messaging, the fridge picked up at 8am the following morning.

As mentioned, unfortunately the team didn't manage to get to you within the allotted time slot. The nature of dealing with waste and being out on the road means these things can happen and time slots can't be 100% guaranteed.
When they do fail, we try and do everything in our power to get the items collected asap.
As mentioned in your review, in this case the team worked later than they generally would in an attempt to ensure your collection was completed.
When that was unsuccessful, the team returned at the earliest opportunity in the morning.
As a business, there wasn't much more we could have done here to change the events of the day and ensure the collection was completed before 6pm.
Thanks again for your review and apologies that our efforts were unsatisfactory.
Booked a removal for a sofa - amazing
Booked a removal for a sofa, mattress and x2 dining chairs. I was most worried about the sofa as it was quite big, and wouldn’t fit in the lift of my flat so had to be taken out, and down 3 flights of stairs.
I’d been let down the previous day, and needed this sofa out, and thank goodness Dean and Shaun from the Preston team were on hand to help!! So lovely, efficient and made the whole experience a breeze. Thank you!!!!

Daniel and Stuart were stars they were friendly and efficient and really helped me out. For me this was an impossible task and they just got stuck in with no judgement just help. They were clearing a garage for me and explained exactly what they would do and as I had a lot talked through next steps etc. thank you so much 🙂

Unreliable and Absent
Booked to pick up a sofa and bed on 4/7/2025. Paid £200 and given a 5 hour window. Simply didn't turn up. No-one at the office able to give me a straight answer. Unreliable and unprofessional, avoid.

I have investigated the failed collection and the operatives due to collect your sofa did have an issue with their van.
Unfortunately, this wasn't communicated effectively with our customer service team which led to them struggling to get a straight answer on what was happening.
Due to the collection failing, a full refund was requested and actioned immediately.
We handle 100's of collections weekly and do everything we can to ensure everyone of them goes as smoothly as possible. On this rare occasion things didn't go to plan and for that I apologise.

Excellent Service
I like how this company has a very simple system that you can go online and check how much they charge to take furniture away, I had a big bulky divan bed to be taken away which I booked, you get dates you choose from and if you want a specific time you can pay a bit extra, I had 2 men who came to collect my bed which was upstairs in my bedroom, they were really friendly and got the bed out nice and quickly with no problem, I would highly recommend them, thank you so much.

Great experience with these guys. Daniel and Stuart were very friendly and respectful. They were efficient and went above and beyond by sweeping the site and cleaning it after. Whole experience was professional and efficient, exactly what you want. I would highly recommend
