Southend store. Went in this morning to do the back to school shopping with my three sons. Naomi and the team from the moment we got in settled my kids with ease. They all sat down and were able to make a choice from a great variety of shoes. Shop looked so clean tidy and well managed. All three had time to look and try on. Naomi was great and making sure the fit was right and double checked each child as one was wide and two were extra narrow!!! Her customer service was amazing from start to finish and all kids felt relaxed and calm and I really felt she put their needs first. Fantastic experience couldn’t recommend high enough!

Keeley was brilliant at measuring all my 3 children’s feet. She had a lovely smile on her face, was very warm and welcoming, especially with my little one who was having her feet measured for school shoes for the first time! What made Keeley stand out is that she actually asked my daughter directly for her views about which shoes felt most comfortable and which ones she preferred - such a lovely child-centred attitude and approach - what a refreshing experience! Went to the Southend-on-sea to buy a pair of boots all ready have two pairs size 10.5 the boots I wanted were Bees wax desert boot £120 they didn't have my size so tried a 10 but too tight the lady asked if she could measure my feet and said i was a11 . When I got home ordered a size 11 on line and when they arrived were too big so i sent them back and asked them to exchange them for a size 10.5 after 4 days hadn't heard from them so sent a E-mail got a reply to say they had refunded me £117.50 so lost £2.50 when I said I wanted an exchange they apologised and gave me a code which would give me a 25% discount when I've tried to order size 10.5 using the code it says code not acceptable ... So avoid buying on line from Clarks

Clarks has always been at the forefront of shoe retail and no exception is the excellent Southend High St store. Always a treat to get a good personal shopper such as Nicole who can advise, suggest and most importantly fetch shoes for the big try-on !! There is no pressure to buy and really enjoy the good old fashioned service, sadly lacking these days. Bought super comfy cloudstepper flip flops in a gorgeous blue and must-have leather trainers for dresses and skirts ...both will be worn with love and comfort .....

I went to the Southend store and was served by Naomi who was excellent in solving my problem in trying to buy shoes that Clark’s no longer do.
She asked for my shoe size then went out to the store room and came with 4 boxes with two different designs, and then went and got a few more boxes! Needless to say Naomi solved my problem in minutes and I left a very happy customer with a very comfortable shoe designed for walking long distances.
