Very disappointed with Clarks
Very disappointed with Clarks. I’ve always bought my daughter’s school shoes from there as they promise they should last for at least 2 years. The previous shoes actually lasted 2 years and were very good.
I then bought another pair in September 2025 and these only lasted 5 months before the sole came off.
I contacted the store (Scunthorpe) who referred me to the customer services. I filled in the form and someone got in touch to get more info like store I got them from, proof of purchase and eventually the SKU number. All these on seperate emails, one after the other.
As I had misplaced the receipt they refused the accept my bank statement as proof even though it clearly had all the info (date, time and store purchased)
Eventually they offered me a £15 voucher which I refused as the shoes had only lasted 1/4 of the time promised by Clarks. I asked for the issue to be escalated and the customer guy came back and said his management team could not see any quality issue even though the shoe is clearly shown on the pics I sent them….

I order online on 07-12-2024 and I received email on 11-12-2024 stating my package has arrived in Scunthorpe store I went on 12-12-2024 in store to pick up a young girl (English) hardly 18 got order number and went behind and come back yes we have received your package but you will have to come after you received text message from our store. I am still waiting for message
I have not yet received order. Plz help
I have changed rating because reply was satisfied and polite.
