The person who served us was quite helpful, however he didn’t want to listen to my wishes with regards to my child’s shoes and their sizing. I wanted to keep my child’s shoes at the size they were measured and not the half size up, and he ignored my reasons. I felt pressured into complying with the sizing and left quite stressed and dissatisfied by the experience.

I visited the branch in Lancaster today ( 27/08/2024),
To purchase school shoes for my Grandson.
I was served by a young man called ‘Brian’.
I believe he is a student on a summer placement job.
I can only describe him as fantastic.
He was polite, helpful, very attentive and fitted my grandson in such professional way.
The shop was extra busy and he did not rush advising us on products and offers available.
Brian is a credit to your company.

I went to the Lancaster to get me boys school shoes. I have been going to this store for 13 as they last the longest for them. I was served by Naima, who was amazing and relaxed my youngest when getting shoes.

Wow what a positive experience school shoe shopping was today with the brilliant Fiona. Normally my most hated task of the summer was made lovely and actually pleasant. Can’t thank her enough for help.

What a fabulous experience at the Lancaster branch, taking my daughter for school shoes! Staff noticed she wore ear defenders and discreetly asked if she'd prefer a quiet space to be measured. Not only this, but they told me they will offer a measuring service before store opens or after it closes to support her and others with such needs. Thanks to Fiona who measured, she was expert, sensitive, and made my daughter feel very comfortable. Well done Clarks, Lancaster!

Brian measured my son's feet and helped find the right shoes. He was very patient and helpful. My son tried loads of shoes on before he decided which he liked best.

Excellent service today from Naima who was efficient and just lovely when helping us purchase school shoes for our grandson Harry.

Went in for school shoes for my son and Mavis was the sales associate and she was very friendly and we had a brilliant experience. Thanks Mavis for all your help today.

Erin fitted my 6yr old daughter's school shoes. She was very good at talking to my daughter, extremely patient, fun and took lots of time to help. She made sure we bought shoes which fitted correctly. A great experience, thank you.

Visited Clarks Lancaster with 2 of my grandchildren. One lovely and easy to sort with new school shoes the other not so easy now she's a teenager. Fiona served us and was super patient, calm, unlike me and finally found a pair that not only fit but she actually liked. Thank you for being so nice.

I popped into Clarks yesterday with my daughter to pick a new pair of school shoes. We were greeted by Jules who measured her feet and helped us pick a pair of shoes that she liked. The first pair didn’t fit right and the second pair weren’t available, but Jules recommended another pair which we had overlooked and they fit perfectly.
Thank you very much for your help Jules :) my daughter is very happy with her new shoes!

Brian at the Lancaster store was friendly and helpful. My daughter got school shoes and trainers with no problem. He made sure they fitted correctly and was great.

I went into the lancaster store today to purchase shoes for my granddaughter and the service was excellent fiona the sales Assistant was very knowledgeable and very helpful she made it a very easy and stress free experience first class service

My daughter is starting secondary school in September and after wearing trainers for 4 years plus needed fitting for proper shoes. I was a little apprehensive before our visit as she has a high instep and wears insoles to correct her feet. We were met in store by Maisie who was very helpful and friendly and gave us many suggestions and styles to try on and a lot of advice once the shoes were on my daughter’s feet. Thanks to Maisie my daughter found some shoes she was delighted with and is very excited to wear them.

On the day we visited the store there was a protest taking place in our city. All the shop staff were on the ball linking with security/police and when the protest came down near the shop they acted quickly to shut and lock the doors reassuring us that we could stay as long as we like. Couldn’t be happier with our experience, thank you so much

Great service for my grandchild’s first shoe fitting by a lady called Maisie excellent service
