Clachaig Inn Omdömen 

Popped in today because the Kinghouse was closed to non residents, wish I had driven by. It was busy enough but was greeted by available tables full of dirty dishes and no staff to be seen. Staff members eventually arrived and they were on a go slow and certainly were in no rush to clear the place either. Food is over priced and place is filthy, wouldn't recommend and certainly wouldn't go back, which is a shame because the location is stunning

Couldn’t wait to leave. Worst accommodation we stayed at in all of Scotland (total of 8 locations in June 2025, and others were all positive). Check-in experience was poor with no one at front desk and not friendly when they finally arrived. Restaurant food was below average and over-priced. Restaurant service was next to nil and rude. Cleanliness of room and public areas was sub-par. Room was noisy, old and needs a refresh. Only positive for this place are the beautiful surroundings. Such a shame.

My partner and I have just spent £65 in here on food and drinks then went to order desserts. We were informed that we couldn’t order desserts because they were serving residents only after 7.30. Wish we had never entered the place and spent our money. How long does it take to serve two cheesecakes with ice cream? The staff were so damned rude and very unprofessional. Such a shame that it’s run by such people. It’s always been one of my favourite places to visit but won’t be returning. 😡

Great food, lovely atmosphere and fab staff

Spent a long weekend in Glencoe in November and visited the "Boots Bar" at Clachaig Inn on 2 evenings after day hiking locally. Both days ordered food and drinks which was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. On the Saturday evening the atmosphere was brilliant with a lively band playing (Kinky Karma) and the place was packed and people dancing on tables by the end of the night. On Sunday came back and the atmosphere was laidback with a fire burning. And the barman remembered our drinks order from the previous evening. Brilliant place and service!
