Citysofa Omdömen 

I purchased a sofa and after no communication from the company, decided to contact Amex to initiate a chargeback. Miraculously after doing so, the sofa was delivered and I agreed to cancel the chargeback. I then decided to return the sofa in line with the company's return policy and the sofa was collected. Over a week later and I have no confirmation of my return and have not been refunded. To add to this, the site now seems to be down which is concerning...

I have ordered a Scott sofa on 1st July and the only email communication I received was the order confirmation. Hence, I followed up through the live chat to know the status about the delivery. The last information and communication through the chat was over a week ago and I got told my delivery would be due end of last week or beginning of this week with someone from citysofa reaching out to me before then. As I still haven’t heard anything last Friday, I tried to contact them through live chat, phone calls and email and asked for any update or delays etc. over the last couple days. But no response and only radio silence since then.

This makes me quite frustrated first of all as I am without a sofa for weeks and second, I wonder if I even receive the sofa I paid for or if it is a scam.

Unfortunately, nothing to say about the quality or the looks of the sofa as I haven’t received the product.

There was even a fast delivery promised which I doubt as well and leads me again to the question, is this a scam?

We wanted a Scott sofa but the lead times on Made.com were ridiculous, and we'd had some bad experiences with them recently which put us off. Then we found Citysofa - cheaper and available in just a few weeks. We wondered if it was too good to be true (when most furniture was on such long lead times) but decided to give it a try.

Had a call within a few days to arrange delivery within the week. The delivery guys arrived when they said and navigated a slightly tricky set of stairs with no issue. Sofa assembled and very comfy indeed - now been in service for about 9 months and it's great. Very happy with Citysofa and I'm glad we didnt pay more money to wait much longer for a sofa from somewhere else!

Can't complain about the quality of the sofa - it is comfortable, and the delivery guys were helpful. Yes, the sofa arrived over a week later than the date we promised, but these things happen, I suppose.

However, the customer service has been absolutely appalling. No reply to phone calls, voicemails, emails and live chat. I'm having to chase so much. I was told that a refund had been issued as we were owed £100, but that is clearly false as it's been over a week since we were told the refund had been issued. I can't reach anyone to get this sorted. This is my last recourse, in the hope that by publicly shaming the company they feel some compulsion to respond.

We haven't ruled out returning the sofa and just trying to get a full refund, and buying from a more reliable company. City Sofa are clearly an unprofessional and unreliable company to deal with - they've made the whole process infinitely harder and more stressful than it needs to be.

Worst customer service ever.
I have had a faulty sofa for 9 months, yes at first they tried to help by replacing cushions but since telling me they would collect and offer me a full refund they have avoided all my calls and emails.
They told me one date they were collecting and no one turned up.
I managed to speak to someone by calling from a different number with which someone told me another date and again no one turned up.
I have a faulty sofa with the insides coming through, I can feel the staples on the top of the sofa and the legs are wobbly.
I have to replace the sofa but they are now ignoring me.
I would avoid, the sofas look nice but the quality is poor.

Shopped around for a particular sofa and after reviews here I decided to try City Sofa. We saved around £1,000 on the total price compared with Made etc and everything was delivered in around 3 weeks. Communication from Kate and the delivery drivers was excellent throughout with prompt email replies and phone calls to give me their ETA. They unpacked and fully assembled everything and even removed my old 3 piece suite free of charge which saved us a lot of hassle. Couldn’t be happier with our choice.

SCAM! NO REFUND NO DELIVERY!!! I have ordered from them over 3 weeks ago and still, no delivery, emailed them requesting a refund, and no reply, not able to get on hold of anyone when calling their number and no one calls you back when you leave messages.

Fast delivery, delivery chaps put the legs on and even took the wrapping away. Wonderful company.

CitySofa are an amazing Company I ordered a suite for my daughter last Saturday it was delivered today Thursday by David and Dave Father and Son team who are an asset to this company with there excellent customer service thank you.

Suite looks so good I would recommend Citysofa to all they keep you informed every step of the way are respectful and make you feel valued as a Customer.

The 4 seater chaise Scott in ivory weave is extremely comfortable, and the weave fabric is plush and soft without being glossy or slick like velvet. The colour is nice.
Quality is high, much better than made.com's own Scott sofa, with much more padding in the seat and back cushions, and is also considerably cheaper.
Delivery time was excellent - 5 weeks exactly from date of order to delivery, which is 4x faster than made.com / DFS / SCS and other mainline sofa companies offer (most are 18wks minimum).
Customer service was great, Kate was very quick to respond to queries and very helpful.
Delivery was great, Peter and David were slightly later than planned but kept in contact throughout the day to let me know and were very efficient, professional and friendly when they arrived. They unpacked and assembled the sofa within 10mins.
All round great service and purchasing experience, I would recommend city sofa instead of made.com / DFS / SCS etc to anybody.

From ordering fabric samples, purchase and tight through to delivery everything was spot on with City Sofa. The delivery guys were excellent and kept me up to date on arrival time and put everything together for me. The velvet sofa, armchair and ottoman I bought are great quality, look amazing and are super comfy too. I was dubious about making such a large purchase without seeing or sitting on the items first but I needn't have been. Honestly I can't fault this shopping experience in any way. I never leave reviews but feel they truly deserved one.

Wow! I’m absolutely amazed by the service and the sofa. After a long string of serious difficulties with a lot of other companies while trying to furnish my flat I’m happy to be able to write a positive review at last. I ordered a 3 seater sofa in Ivory Weave, I’m positively surprised by the fabric- it’s super soft, very tightly woven and looks much better than on the photos. It’s a greyish/almost white colour and fits perfectly with my decor (scandi/mid century). It’s also very comfortable - I would say 5/10 in softness and seems to keep its shape well. It was delivered only 12 days after ordering, very friendly and helpful guys brought it in, put everything together and took the packaging away. They actually cared if I’m happy with the product which is not a given anymore these days… By pure luck they also had a footstool in the same colour in their van- I didn’t order it originally only because it wasn’t listed on the website but I’m more than happy I have it now too! I only wish you were selling more furniture so that all my purchases were so satisfying and stress free. Citysofa you’re doing something really really well. Thank you!
