I thought this was a local flower shop in Elmira but I guess not. They charged $20 for same day delivery and delivered the next day in the evening. I requested no vase, but they added one in and had very few flowers despite ordering the deluxe/luxury option. The worst part was the handwritten note - looked like it was written by a kid and had so many errors. All you have to do is copy the message from the order! They squished the letters for happy birthday and didn’t even include all of the sender’s name.

This is a scam company. Not located in the United States despite advertising as a local florist. Absolutely terrible service. I would give them negative stars if possible.

Normally I read reviews before making a purchase with an unknown company but this time I didn't. Website says they are a local, family owned flower shop but in reality it is a third party service with no retail location. Website says "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" which was not my experience. I ordered a "Bright and Colorful" bouquet per photo on website and flowers that were delivered were pastel. They claimed they didn't have any brightly colored flowers. They gave me a 1/3 refund on the total amount and wouldn't redeliver a brightly colored bouquet of any kind. There was also a $20 service fee for placing the order which should have been a clue. I am fuming.

I ordered flowers for my daughter’s birthday one day in advance, specifically requesting delivery on her birthday. The flowers were not delivered until approximately one hour before her office closed, and I never received a delivery confirmation. I had to call several times just to make sure my order was being processed. Unfortunately, my daughter did not receive the flowers until after business hours, which defeated the purpose of having them delivered to her workplace on her birthday.

Based on this experience, I will not be using City Flower Shop again. The lack of communication and failure to ensure timely delivery were extremely disappointing. I also encourage customers to consider other options, including locally owned florists, when ordering flowers. I strongly recommend calling another florist to ensure your order receives the attention and service it deserves.

Ordered PURPLE PASSION (purple flowers and green floral) arrangement.
Recipient received a Red roses with some purple and green floral arrangement. I also paid $20 extra for additional flowers. Very disappointed that they didn’t even make an effort to call and let me know that the arrangement I ordered wasn’t available and went ahead and sent something completely different. When I called and complained. They wanted to send a new arrangement but Only if they were able to get the original arrangement back. It would not be a huge deal if the recipient hadn’t just gone through major kidney surgery. Their request was ridiculous. I absolutely would not recommend this florist. No refund offered

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered flowers that were supposed to have teddy bear. The flowers were delivered with no bear. When I called they told me they would send a driver to re-deliver. It's been a week and every time I call I get the runaround. I asked for a refund and they said they have to pick the flowers up first. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

This is a scam. I ordered flowers to be delivered by 11:00 a.m. for a funeral. I placed the order five days ahead of time. I got an email on the day that they were supposed to be delivered saying that they were delivered. However, my sisters who live closer to the location attended the funeral and there were no flowers. I was highly embarassed and called multiple times. I thought I was dealing with a local florist, but I apparently was not. I called multiple times and always got voicemail. The one time I spoke to human named "Kurt," he told me that my flowers were delivered. When I told him they were not, at least not delivered in time for the service, he told me he'd get back to me in 24 hours. He did not. Multiple calls later, I am here writing this review. Only trying to save any and everyone else from making the same mistake I did.

I ordered a large plant dish of succulents and upgraded to add more flowers. Total with Birthday balloons and delivery was over $130. Called to change delivery as the location was closed and no one would be there to accept delivery for 2 days. Sadly the delivery was left outside, balloons laying flat, in Florida heat, and no card to be found. When I sent photos about the difference in what I ordered and what I received - I was offered $20 refund. I will not be ordering from this company again! Very disappointed.

I called City Flower Shop to order flowers and specifically asked if they were a local florist. I was told they were local to the Columbia, SC area. My next question was could they be delivered the same day. After being on hold, I was told they had the flowers and they would be delivered that day. 48 hours after they were expected to be delivered I was notified by the recipient that they did not receive flowers. Since I had not received a phone call or an email regarding the delivery, I contacted them and was told the order could not be delivered. No specific reason was given, just it would not be delivered. The flower shop had already withdrawn the money from my account so I requested a refund. However, at this time I have not received it.

The worst third party flower shop EVER! At first i thought they were a local shop, then when the money came out of my account, it listed them in Sheridan WY! The flowers were supposed to be delivered to an IDAHO address!!! Then they delivered the next day and the bouquet looks NOTHING like what I paid for!!! The flowers were brown and wilted and there were no succulents in the arrangement like I paid for! Then to top it off, they offered me a 20 dollar discount!!! Or they would send someone to pick up the arrangement and my families house, while my family member is on HOSPICE!!!!! Terrible!!!! How DISGUSTING and Disrespectful!!!!

I ordered flowers leading with the importance of a 9 am delivery window. Lear assured it would be no problem. The night prior to delivery I received an email confirming my order. No delivery arrived by 10:30 screwing up the celebratory day. My calls at 10:43 and 11:33 am seeking status were met with voice mail. Believing the delivery was enroute we pushed our plans several times as leaving $200 flowers in the extreme heat wave on the porch would be disastrous. I received an email at 12:44 pm advising flowers were enroute. The arrangement arrived 12:50 pm. It was sparse, nothing like the full beautiful arrangement I ordered. Filler was limited, there was no card, No ribbon. Order elsewhere,

I pre-ordered flowers to be delivered the day of my daughter’s wedding. For no reason given it was cancelled on the day of her wedding. Although I was refunded, the special moment was ruined! Upon calling customer service the following Monday, the reason given was they did not have the flowers available. I ordered roses and carnations!! ?? What flower shop doesn’t have that?? Be aware of this third party company! It is not a local florist as they advertise.

If I could leave a ZERO rating I would. I want everyone to know that they should NOT use this company. The website is false and misleading, they are not a local Florist as advertised they are an online third party service company. I wished I would have done more reserach becuase my granddaughters 1st birthday flower delivery was RUINED by this company, which is something I can not get back again! I originally called to ask if the flowers I wanted were in season and was assured they would have them (Gerber Daisies). I placed my on line order and received a confirmation email saying it was on hold. I called back and was told it was how their system processes credit card orders and was assured everything was fine. I called the next day the morning of the delivery to check again and was told my order was in process and good to be delivered then the same day ay 4:00 I received another email saying they cancelled my order. I did not get that email until late in the evening so I could not attempt to make it right with another company or drive the 2 hours to deliver some grocery store flowers myself. I called the next morning and was told by the 1st representative that there had been a car accident and the delivery could not be made which was not true after more questioning on my part and requested a manger to speak with but had to leave a message. I called again and another representiatve informed me that they are not local but 4 of their contacts refused my order. The manager called me back on a bad line and I could not discuss the issue really with them and they ended up hanging up on me. Please do not trust this company for your needs.

I am absolutely furious with City Flower Shop. I ordered an arrangement for a special person, and upgraded to premium, expecting more than the beautiful, lush display shown on their website.
What was actually delivered was an absolute insult. The arrangement was pathetic and significantly smaller than the advertised picture. It looked like a cheap, scaled-down afterthought. Instead of bringing joy, it caused immense embarrassment for me in front of the recipient.
When I immediately called and then emailed their customer service multiple times to fix this, the experience went from bad to abysmal. The representative flat-out refused to deliver a replacement arrangement. They showed zero accountability for cheating me out of the premium service I paid for, essentially pocketing my upgrade fee and leaving me empty-handed.
This company operates like a total sham. They will gladly take your money, outsource the arrangment to a locally owned shop for a small fraction of what I paid, resulting in delivery a subpar product that looks nothing like the photo, and then leave you stranded when you call them out on it. Avoid City Flower Shop at all costs unless you want to be ripped off and deeply embarrassed!

I was in the process of purchasing flowers for my sister in Mesa, Az. They had pretty decent prices and I figured I would order. I spent my time going through the check out process and when I got to my cart to submit payment, they had added $20.00 as a service fee. So much for the FREE shipping. I did email the company and let them know that I was not buying from them and the service fee was no more than a fee to off set their free shipping. I bought from another florsit in the Mesa area.

What a joke. There website says same day delivery so I place an order and they call me saying I missed the deadline. That's fine although I am not sure your website allows you to order for that day. They assure me it will be delivered the next day. I check on it the next day in the afternoon and it shows on hold. I call and speak to them and the girl keeps telling me I missed the same day deadline. I keep telling her that was from the day before. She says she will investigate the situation and promises me that she personally will call me back. That was on Friday. It is now Saturday and they are closed. The flowers were for a funeral. Never again. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I left specific instructions on where to leave my flowers from my mother. Instead of leaving them on her front porch by the door, they left them at the end of her driveway 200 yards away from her home. She never received them and they gave me a hard time about getting a refund would not recommend them for anybody wish I had read the reviews before I ordered.

This company sucks. Do not, I repeat, do not use them for anything. I placed a flower order for my wife's birthday. This company took my order and then, without explanation, just decided to cancel the order. So here I am now, without her receiving this surprise. They suck. I sincerely hope they go out of business.

I also would give a Zero. Ordered same day guaranteed delivery. Called to make sure everything was fine. Ken obviously looked at the wrong order and said it’s going to Monica. I said no it is not so he spent time looking up the correct order. Said it would be delivered by 5 pm.
Called me at 4:18 pm and said they would deliver it tomorrow. It was for a birthday today and they knew that. Cancelled my order. They should not be allowed to be in business.
