Chosen Foods Omdömen

I bought two jars of Chosen Foods Avocado Oil Mayonnaise based on a very favourable rating in the "Yuka" app. My purchase was at Costco. I threw out part of the first jar because the mayo had an 'odd' taste which, in my experience, was like it was stale. I just opened the second jar and made a sandwich with it and experienced the same odd taste. My meal is sitting like an uncomfortable lump in my stomach. I just threw out the second jar. Both jars were used prior to the best before date. Second jar lot 53624583. Won't buy this brand again.

2026 UC Davis laboratory study evaluating the authenticity of avocado oil products.

Chosen Foods Classic Mayo failed the authenticity benchmark, suggesting the oil blend may not be 100% pure avocado oil.

Company Status: Despite Chosen Foods' previous public assurances regarding their strict purity standards, the lack of transparency in their raw sourcing data has led to increased skepticism and potential consumer legal investigations.

My wife and I love this product, as she is Chinese and I am American with our combined tastes and my being a chef for over 18 years, this Avacado Oil has been my favorite choice as to natural manufacturing and the taste that is mild but very light on the palate. My dishes that I create and wife's exceed our tastes and our dishes of stir fry and skillet frying demand the excellence of quality and flavor that your Oil offers. 5 Star, rated a 10 for product and flavor. Thank you very much for your expertise in making this product.

Would not recommend as I wanted to buy healthy avocado oil, unfortunately when arrived it said naturally refined that means oil has been refined. This is not what I was looking for. The whole point of using good oil for cooking especially avocado as it has a 260 degree's of heat poit ,it's that you use unrefined, cold pressed oil. Anyway shall be green colour not yellow. ( means it has been processed). Not sure why people are happy with this oil, not sure why has such a good rewiews. Waste of money , will not be buying again.

We are a big fan of Chosen's avocado oil, so when one of the bottles we purchased had a defect, we let them know- thought maybe it was a manufacturing thing they'd like to be aware of. It was great to talk to Nabila in customer service. She sent us a few coupons for our feedback, which was very kind and unexpected. Our 5 stars is a thank you for a great product and the lovely people behind it.
