I purchased a lifetime premium membership in late 2024 and I haven't regretted it for a second. While there have been some growing pains along the way (and I take away a star just because I think it could have been a smoother transition in some areas), there have been so many changes that it's almost a totally different experience vs what I started with in 2024 ... but generally, the changes have improved the experience for the better. With the ability to (now) play 1100+ AI Chess Bots (the Bots are the only opponents available to play against on this site) with multiple challenges regularly (daily in some cases) and the ability to improve with everything from puzzles to full blown courses, it has become my favorite low-stress chess website. You can even choose playing and opening styles to practice against and/or you are welcome to randomly play opponents. As I write this, they've opened up a week of premium for everyone ... so now's the time to create an account (for free) and give this site a try.

The bots play very human like and there's a ton of them. If you enjoy playing against bots, Chessiverse is the place to go to.

To get 5/5 please add team Bot competitions, leagues so it gives a more club feeling than just one bot after another.

Yes, it adds a little more realism and would it not be funny to prepare to play a bot in a table one league final :-)

Chessiverse is an easy to use, fun platform for learning and playing chess. With over 1100 bots, it is easy to find games at whatever level you want to play. The bots do a great job of simulating human moves at the appropriate level, so you feel like you are playing another person. There is also great additional content such as courses, endgame challenges, positions from master games for you to play and videos from titled players that include games and analysis.

What takes this site over the top for me is that the developers listen to feedback and interact with their community on discord. Whether fixing a bug or making changes to improve the site, they are quick to respond and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the experience.

Fantastic site that takes chess bot training to a completely new level. It makes moving up the bot ladder fun and cuts out some of the stress of playing a human opponent. Tons of features and a huge variety of bots at different levels and with different play styles. It's the perfect site for workshopping new opening ideas or just a place to play a casual game to practice or warm up before your rated games against human opponents.

I’ve been really enjoying playing on Chessiverse lately. What stands out most is how relaxing and pressure-free the experience feels. You can just jump into games, learn at your own pace, and genuinely enjoy chess without feeling overwhelmed.

The bots are surprisingly impressive too. They don’t feel robotic or repetitive. They play in a very human-like way, which makes the games much more engaging and realistic compared to many other chess apps.

The graphics and overall design are clean, modern, and immersive. Everything feels polished, and the features keep the experience fresh and fun. Whether you’re practicing, casually playing, or trying to improve, Chessiverse makes chess feel enjoyable and accessible.

Definitely one of the more engaging chess platforms I’ve tried.

Chessiverse is very easy to use.
You can choose the level of the bot you are going to play with.
You don't have to play again and again against human players who have nearly exactly the same level than you in a stressful limited time like in Chess.com or Lichess : it's tiring and boring.
Chessiverse gives you more fun and more freedom.
And last but not least, beginning today, it's possible to analyze a position with an AI agent which, since day 1 and still in beta version, is very good.

My Experience with Chessiverse
I started using Chessiverse because I wanted a smarter and more fun way to train chess online. What made my experience great is how interactive the bots are they don’t just play like a computer, they actually have personalities and styles that make every game feel different. It’s both entertaining and challenging, which kept me motivated to train regularly.

What the Company is Doing Well
Chessiverse is doing an excellent job of making chess training feel personal and stress-free. Unlike other platforms, they focus on helping players improve step by step with customized bots, themed challenges, and even the option to create your own opponents. I really like how easy it is to pick an opening or difficulty level and practice exactly what I need.

Overall, Chessiverse combines learning with fun and that’s what makes it stand out.
