From the quotation visit to the packing day and the move itself, everything was done professionally and efficiently, but in a friendly and adaptable way to fit with our requirements. From the moment we got their flyer through the door, Chelmsford displayed nothing but professionalism, kindness.

The office team were responsive, informative and good humoured. Glen, who did the quote and came to pack, was so thorough and careful. Then the removals team led by Terry, with Martin, Paul and Rob was spectacular. They worked like trojans, with a really positive energy, carefully, quickly and efficiently filling an enormous truck with our stuff. They treated every box as if it was their own and had a good laugh with us on the way!

Rob and Paul came back on a second day to empty a store and they were just as impressive - if not more so! They carried large bits of furniture, moved all of our delicate glassware, navigated frustrated neighbours with ease, and still had a smile at the end of the long day.

We have already recommended them to anyone we know - whether they are moving house or not!

We opted for the packing service the day before, the team on the day was fantastic, and the efficiency of the pack was incredible to watch and would have taken me weeks otherwise.

On the day of the move, the team arrived on time and got to work quickly, systematically packing down a room at a time. All done by lunch time and then the unpack at the other end, all done so incredibly quickly.

What an amazing, professional, lovely, hard working team! We didn’t have the easiest furniture to move but Nick, Glen & Mike dissembled all the furniture perfectly (one being a mechanical bed) and carried it down 2 flights of stairs! Then reassembled it all at the other end, making our move as smooth as it could possibly be! We could not have done it without this team and we are so grateful for all their hard work that day!

We booked Chelmsford Removals for our relocation from London to the East Suffolk over a 4 day period with a full packing service on Friday, loading on Saturday, storing at their Chelmsford Depot on Sunday and delivery on Monday.

From the initial estimation with Ricky to the packing and moving team with Dan and Mick, everyone was friendly, courteous, professional and efficient. for our house move , we had lived there for 43years so there was a lot of stuff & very heavy garden items , we had 2 x 15ft lorries & 6 men & we can honestly say that they arrived promptly, we’re extremely polite, friendly, hard working, never rude or grumpy with each other , they worked as a team & very organised! We had made the best choice & writing this is easy as they are 100% ‘THE BEST’ they moved us out & into our new home where once again after a very busy morning they transferred our belongings still with care & with no damage .
