Inexperienced, rude awfully slow and clueless. I would say they should be called a customer service agency but their customer service is atrocious also.

Never take responsibility always blame others, have no care about their clients.

From start to finish, Charles Head were absolutely brilliant. Susie initially looked after the negotiations, and it was Alisha who then took care of us brilliantly throughout the process.

Our first property purchase with another estate agent in Kingsbridge fell through after being mucked around for about a year by the vendors, so we viewed another property with Charles Head. Within about 2 months, we are finally on the property ladder and are slowly settling in.

Alisha takes a much more hands on approach to the entire process than what we previously experienced - liaising with solicitors & vendors, ensuring the ball continues to roll and things get done!

We were kept informed throughout & Charles Head / Alisha were very patient with us at different stages, too.

A really nice key collection experience with all the ladies in the office, with a box of gifts to welcome us to our home which was a really nice touch. I also got to hit the completion gong. Pardon the pun. (Is there even a pun there?)

Thanks once again to all at Charles Head for a very smooth process in us finally getting on the property ladder in the town that we've grown up in.

I think i probably would of died before this transaction was completed.perhaps Charles Head should open a funeral home but be careful they will let somebody else live rent free in your coffin even tho you have paid for it and wouldnt give a damn about any money you have lost

This is an updated review following rude and threatening phone calls & messages from the owner.

It is my opinion that due to this agent's inexperience and withholding of information my parents have incurred thousands of pounds worth of costs, lost out on their potential new home, and nearly lost the sale of their own house.

I feel that Charles Head estate agents lied about the position of the sellers to get a sale, then blamed it on the sellers lying to them.

Charles Head admitted poor professional diligence in that they do not carry out checks on properties they list for sale to ensure the information which they advertise is factually correct.

I have discussed this at length with the owner of Charles Head who is incredibly condescending, and admitted they have very little experience dealing with chains or buyers who are not 'cash, second home purchasers'.

Given the opportunity to discuss/apologise/empathise with this situation what we have received instead has been threatening and patronising behaviour.

Renting our new home through Charles Head has been a wonderful experience, they are a fabulous team, and we couldn’t be happier.

Charles Head helped us find and secure our dream house in Kingsbridge. Throughout the whole process of putting in an offer to completion, we were kept informed of developments quickly and our questions were always answered on the same day. Alisha was brilliant the whole way through and when things slowed down along the chain, she was great at getting things moving again. All of the office team were friendly and helpful whenever we called. Having bought and sold three houses across Devon and Somerset in the past 20 years, our experience with Charles Head has undoubtedly been the best so far!

In the South Hams, like anywhere in the UK there are a number of estate agents to choose from and Charles Head has been in business for many generations, though the current team are reasonably new. And perhaps this is why the bring such a fresh perspective to the business of selling properties.
From initial meeting to the final completion of the sale, the entire team were professional, very courteous, friendly and always informative. Something very important when dealing with estate agents, as you do like to know how the whole process of viewings is proceeding.
Having appointed Charles Head after another agent, it was, indeed, refreshing to have so much interaction with various members of the company, who all know what was going on with the property, at any given time.
Special mention must go to Alisha for her diligence and attention to detail throughout the process and I can honestly say that Charles Head, as a company, really exceeded my expectations and delivered on the promise made at the appointment.
