Berated and mocked for an issue with his curated email

After years of good experiences with the curated email list, i received a 2025 ysl y le parfum x2 , NOT 2021 as listed, when I told him this he berated me & said I need to do better next time, despite being a loyal follower for years. I tried explaining to him. It took me 12 weeks to notice the issue. Because I only just opened the box which is identical to both fragrances, every time I explained this to him, he changed his argument and then said he would have helped. If I was nicer, despite me being the one supporting him financially., he is disrespectful cruel and above all, bad business practices. I have the emails if anybody wants to see

He then said it's my fault for taking too long.He noted I unsubscribed to his email listing february twenty seventh, but I only reported the issue on march fifth, i told him when I did or did not subscribe to the email listing has nothing to do with the fact that he listed a falsely advertised item. He just kept moving the goalpost. Mocking me and offering no resolution to the people that pay his bills

EDIT - to his response; the outer boxes of ysl y le parfum 2021 & 2025 are very similar, they wernt opened until 12 weeks AFTER; he claimed he could have helped but REFUSED, he never said his limitations to help in our emails, he absolutely berated & mocked me, he said several times "he would have helped if I were nicer" his response here are professional and courtesy, nothing like his emails that are inappropriate. He also mocked me over the span of 7 emails saying he "Would have helped with his contacts if I approached him differently" he's a bad person, theres no justifying his poor behavior, if his email was anything like his response here things would have gone differently.

He spent 4 emails blaming me for unsubcribing from his email listing as if that had anything to do with the issue at hand; he ignored my last email when I asked him to help & clarified to him that when I unsubcribed to his email listing had no bearing on when I opened the boxes to learn my ysl y le parfums had silver y's NOT black as he claimed they were 2021's in his email; im still actively attached with my personal phone number, which again has no bearings on this issue. He merely argued for the sake of arguing.

Avoid at all cost, a good person would have gone above & beyond to make it right for a 3 year follower. If he treated me this way I can only imagine what else he's done to his patrons

First, I want to be very clear that I did not intentionally mislead you or anyone else. The deal email referenced a retailer listing, and the information was presented based on what was publicly shown at the time. I do not control the retailer’s inventory or packaging revisions, and occasionally manufacturers update packaging or batches in ways that are not immediately obvious from a product listing.

Second, the issue was reported approximately 12 weeks after the purchase, which significantly limits what can realistically be done. Most retailers have return or exchange windows that are much shorter than that. Had the issue been brought to my attention closer to the purchase date, I would have been far more likely to assist in reaching out to the retailer or helping find a resolution.

I also want to address the claim that you were “berated” or “mocked.” That is not an accurate description of the conversation. My responses simply explained the situation and the limitations surrounding a purchase that was made months prior. At no point was there any intention to disrespect you.

I appreciate the support from everyone who follows the emails and takes advantage of the deals shared there. However, the curated list is intended to highlight deals from third-party retailers, not act as the seller of those products. Because of that, issues with the exact batch, packaging, or fulfillment ultimately fall under the retailer’s policies and timelines.

I’m always willing to help where I reasonably can, but it’s important that expectations around timing and responsibility remain realistic.

I never received my order (which i made August 16th) i received a tracking number August 25th after sending them an email asking what the status of my order was (considering it had already been 9 days with no information), the tracking number information stated that only a label had been printed by the company and the carrier had never taken possession of the package. As of this date October 24th, two months later, this is still what the tracking states. I’ve tried contacting chaos fragrances multiple times, through three separate channels and never heard a peep back from them. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with them, a response of any sort would have been appreciated. This is no way to treat paying customers, my package wasn't “lost” in the mail, it was never mailed.

I had a damaged package with no contents inside. Filed a complaint with the carrier then tried several times to contact Chaos to rectify the situation but there was never a response. Customer service is the worst I have ever had to deal with!!

Ordering was super easy and it arrived…

Ordering was super easy and it arrived very quickly! I made a mistake on the delivery address and contacting customer service to get it fixed was super easy to! They responded right away and fixed the issue. Probably the best customer service experience I've ever had with a company!
