Challenges Abroad Omdömen 

Challenges abroad has bettered me as a person. They were well organised, I felt safe at all times and overall I really enjoyed my time there. Definitely an opportunity not to miss.

Personally I believe that the team I was working with made this trip a whole lot better, we worked together as a group, laughed and spent the evenings together, whilst working professionally and looking out for one another whilst doing the workshops. Submerge yourself into the culture, take part in all the opportunities that are presented to you, you will make lifelong friends and bonds with the students which make it all alot better but harder to say goodbye with at the end. Challenges abroad have definitely been a huge factor into making this huge experience, including the group mentors/leaders who became a friend to me too, as well as the others, they look put for each individual student and do what is best/what the group will get best out of this experience too.

I always knew I wanted to travel and this 2 weeks away to India with Future Sense and Challenges Abroad allowed me to do my first travel abroad that wasn’t just to a resort/beach holiday. It allowed me to experience a new culture to me first hand (with no filter). I absolutely loved it. My trip was insanely lucky for it to align with the Holi festival and in that day I honestly made memories that I will remember for the rest of my life (as well as this whole trip) but that definitely will be a highlight. As one of my teachers said ,that went on the trip and who’s previously been to India 3 times before, India gets under your skin and I find that 100% true. I have no doubt in my mind that I will return to India in the future. The people, the food and the views are something that I didn’t expect to love so much. New Delhi was a favourite of mine as I loved the hustle and bustle of it but Palampur was just as impressive with the views of the Himalayas and the experience at the Monastery school. I couldn’t have been more grateful for my experience at the monastery school teaching the monks some English. I didn’t believe we would’ve had such an impact in 4 days of teaching but by the last day I was crying tears of sadness and joy as I hugged Khawang as he cried too that I was leaving and all of my other friends on the trip. Many tears was cried that day but I still left quite content that they learned from us, the teachers were happy and we also opened their hearts a little more for future experiences with other students taking part in the trip. If any future student gets to read this and you are considering going. You won’t regret it.

The Challenges Abroad trip to Nepal I took part in was an unforgettable experience. It allowed me to experience a new culture while also having a positive impact on a small group of learners in Nepal.

Furthermore, all of their staff (and the staff from the FutureSense Foundation in Nepal) were friendly and supportive.

Would highly recommend!

Amazing. One in a lifetime experience. Even if you come here in the future you would not be able to fill up your day with the amount of exciting and unique tasks that I experienced during this trip. Never a dull moment.

The Tanzanian people the culture the weather literally everything

This trip was very good and there are only a few things I would of changed myself. If you get an opportunity to go do it.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I am nearly 50 years old so I was the oldest of the group. I was worried about leaving my children and grandchildren. But I so desperately wanted to learn about new cultures, meet new people, and experience everything this trip had to offer. I was not disappointed. We went on lots of amazing excursions, I went on a leopard safari, an elephant sanctuary, I saw the Taj Mahal, to name but a few!. The whole trip was planned with precision detail from start to finish. There were no mishaps of any kind. The planning and organising was second to none. I have come home a whole new person. And wish I could have stayed longer. I loved every minute of it. Amazing is understatement.

It was a great experience, I’m really glad that I took part of it as it got me to experience something knew.

The whole trip was planned very well which left little to no stress on us or anyone else there, the experience was one in a lifetime and left me with very fond memories...
There were never really any moments that left us too puzzled or dependent on others and we were comfortable going on our own on some occasions as we were in good hands.

It was a phenomenal experience but challenging in many ways. However, getting an insight few and learning about something different can make a difference within your own perspective. As well as learning about the different society is incredible and seeing it for yourself is something completely out of this world! It’s an amazing opportunity for a wonderful adventure that I’ll definitely cherish forever.

The opportunity to travel to,help and inspire a community is so precious. Everything was planned and prepared with effective communication and understanding, we were well informed and felt safe and appreciated.

I loved everything about going to Cambodia my only issue is the travel

Such an eye-opening and transformative experience. From immersing myself in the vibrant culture to tackling various community projects, every moment was filled with learning and growth. Working alongside locals on initiatives like education and sustainable development left a lasting impact, not only on the communities we served but also on myself. The connections and the memories made will stay with me and will remain unforgettable. Looking forward, I see this experience as a cornerstone in my journey towards global citizenship and meaningful engagement with diverse communities.

Once in a lifetime experience. Cultural exchange, tourist activities, voluntary work, helping the community… priceless. Wouldn’t give up this opportunity for the world. Challenges Abroad were very on it when it came to checking in with everyone and making sure we were all happy. Amazing value for money, got to see and do so much. The planning for the trip was immaculate. The memories I got from this trip are what makes it so special.

Every aspect of the trip was well planned and thought out and quick resolutions were made when mishaps occurred. Challenges abroad provided a once in a lifetime opportunity with safety as a top priority.

The most amazing experience. The memories made on this trip will last a lifetime, i would do it again if i had the chance. Everyone involved is so supportive and friendly.

Well, Challenges Abroad made me boost myself out of my comfort zone by the fact that I went away with people who I didn’t know for 2 weeks. They helped me have the confidence to go to a different country for the first time without my family that I’ve never done before. They organised the trip very well about where to stay, the activities were going to participate in, what we’re eating, they were a terrific organisation during the two weeks
