Your booking was originally made through another company who contacted us last minute to cover the job, as they had no availability. Your move was scheduled between 12:00 and 14:00, and we arrived within that time frame.
When we arrived, all items were already outside the property, not indoors. We understand it was completion day, but this was not communicated to us in advance.
You had provided a specific inventory, but the actual volume was nearly double. We moved everything on the list as agreed. For extra items, we explained that an additional charge would apply, which is standard in removals.
As for the van, it was not “half full” — it contained wardrobe boxes and protective materials used for clothes and furniture, which are part of a professional removal service.
We also laid floor protection in your new home—free of charge—to protect carpets, despite this not being included in your quoted price.
Regarding the missing watch: we were informed two days later. We take such matters seriously and are cooperating fully with the police investigation. We are confident that the truth will come out and stand by the professionalism of our team.
