Manual said 30-60 min to make ice cream. I followed recipe and after 60 min still liquid. Not worth the price. I paid almost £200 . Not recommended

The recent experience has been somewhat unsatisfactory. While the hot water dispenser itself functions adequately, there was some ambiguity regarding its material composition at the point of purchase; it appears to be plastic rather than the anticipated stainless steel.

Furthermore, the product packaging indicates it is "made for Germany," despite being sold within the UK market, which is an unusual discrepancy.

Attempts to contact customer service have been unsuccessful. Despite calling at various times during their stated operating hours, no one has been available to answer.

This was a gift for my husband . It arrived the next day, well in time for his birthday .
He made his first batch of ice cream and it was wonderful ! The machine is not too noisy and is easy to use and to clean and although it obviously sits on our worktop, it looks good and doesn’t take up as much space as I thought it would .
Our grand children are going to love it as they can watch the ice cream as it’s being made, which doesn’t take too long and then add things like chocolate chips or fruit . We have yet to use non milk products but hope to do so as we have a family member who is allergic to milk . We like to make our own yoghurt as well .
So far we are very pleased and really looking forward to using it a lot in the future.

I should have taken more time to read the different models.
The one I got was the 616. Its is good but I should have at least gone for 660.

Very quick delivery. Microwave looks good and works well. The only improvement would be a digital timer rather than a dial which is not so accurate.

Bought the cordless chop and go with a gift voucher, great product, until it stopped working 8 months later - would not charge. Initial customer service was helpful to diagnose problem, but once it was established the product was indeed faulty, their customer service let them down - they stopped corresponding and I am stuck with a faulty product for 2 months now, dedpite ot being under guarantee. The customer service team need to improve their service, more importantly, future customers should be aware of this before deciding to buy any of their products: in case something goes wrong, you will not get any service from them.

I needed a replacement grill shelf which Caso don’t normally sell but Kirsty in Customer Services made the effort to find one for me and get it sent out FOC. Couldn’t ask for better service!

Well made product, doesn’t feel as flimsy as my last boiler, which lasted less than a year.

Good machine, it’s quiet enough, works well, seems to be good quality.

UPDATE:

Following my original review, I escalated the matter directly to Beam Group, the parent company of CASO Design UK, after multiple emails, phone calls, and Instagram messages failed to provide any meaningful update.

I subsequently received a response apologising for the delay and explaining that they had experienced a high volume of orders following the bank holiday period. I was also informed that my replacement had been processed and was scheduled for collection by XDP that same day.

However, more than 48 hours have now passed since that email, and I have still not received any collection confirmation, tracking information, or delivery arrangements from XDP.

For context:
• Original purchase date: 13 May 2025
• Order number: 122017
• Faulty item returned as instructed
• XDP previously confirmed they had not yet received the replacement item
• Customer service emails went unanswered
• Telephone lines were unavailable
• Instagram support repeatedly advised that the matter would be passed to the relevant team, but no meaningful update was provided until I escalated to Beam Group management

My main concern remains the lack of communication and transparency throughout the process. Delays can happen, but customers should be kept informed, especially when dealing with faulty products and replacement orders.

I hope the matter is resolved soon and I will update this review if and when the replacement is successfully delivered.

Great Customer Service, I had a question regarding the display on my microwave, on 20th May I phoned Caso for advice and they immediately offered an inspection. They arranged a courier collection on 27th May to fit in with my plans, I received a brand new microwave on 30th May.
The young lady I spoke with at Caso was friendly and helpful and made the courier collection on a date that suited me.
I couldn't have asked for a better service.

Once again I find I am at the recipe c end of being ignored by CASO.
They replaced my last waster machine which was great. I rely heavily on these machines as In and out of hospital not through choice believe me!…and can’t hold a kettle so it’s perfect to make life a bit easier and to help with my hot water bottle.the replacement has lasted 7 months and now the temperature doesn’t get hot enough deposit keeping on top of cleaning and descaling. And a hard shut down.. of emailed several time and sent messages through Facebook all unanswered!!!

Okay, so I wanted a new kettle, I thought about it long and hard, I looked at really expensive ones and cheap ones. Then I saw an article about a hot water dispenser. I was hooked. I investigated the different ranges and the comments. I even trolled the high street. The one brand that stood out the most was Caso. I had never heard of this brand before but the reviews were excellent. Well, I am a convert. The simplicity and easy of use is exemplary from the unpacking to the setting up was so simple,I was drinking my 1st cup of herbal tea in seconds not minutes seconds. Even my husband who was a traditionalist when it came to kettles has also been pleasantly converted. The best part is that I purchased at an amazing discount directly from Caso, delivery was quick, arrived well packaged, I most definitely recommend purchasing this item.

It was a disaster, Caso call it a
“Rapid Hot Water Dispenser” well the water flow rate is 42 seconds to dispense 400ml and the temperature was just as cold as water out the tap.
There is no chapter in the instructions on how to deal with a unit that does not work. They are manufactured for the German market.
Just do not expect you are going to get what is says on the box because you will be very disappointed.

Kept your word about processing and delivery times. Great customer service when called for clarification.

Bit noisy but great for for quickness and speed

For some unknown reason they include a hose with the vacuum sealer but not the adapter required to use the hose making it useless with storage containers and zip lock bags.
Photos of product show it being used with containers, but it can't be without the adapter.
Tried contacting to acquire the adapter got no reply.

Arrived promptly and delivered with care. Much better design, much better than my old OneCup 😆

We have the HW770 hot water dispenser, and needed a second, so we decided to buy the HW1660 as well. They are both of excellent quality and design, easy to use. Their customer service is brilliant, with any questions answered promptly, and with great patience… :-) First class, and highly recommended.
