Been with Cashco for years never missed a payment, paid off last loan in September, now 7 months later they hit my credit with 7 phantom missed payments? All after loan was completed, and of course all operations in Ontario are now closed so can’t speak to and anybody

Applied last week got a text message from them on Monday and I replied and it's the start of day 2 with no reply back yet. Which is weird cause the.first 2 times they replied instantly.

Ever since they made their employees work from home I've actually received better service and now I don't have to drive half way across the city to get a loan and I can get one from the comfort of my own home.

Beware!! I had a loan from 2024 that I paid off in Aug 2025. Now 8 months later they stole $352.63 from my bank account without my authorization. I called them and provided emails and receipts proving my loan was paid. I also talked to someone from the Edm office who confirmed that I had paid it off. But I'm still waiting for my money to be returned. You can get an instant loan from them, but to get money they owe you takes time.

DO NOT GET A LOAN WITH CASHC0!! THEY ARE BEING INVESTIGATED FOR FRAUD BY MY BANK!! THEY CONTINUOSLY ATTEMPT TO WITHDRAW MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT SEVERAL TIMES PER MONTH AND DIFFERENT AMOUNTS EVEN UP TO $300 AT A TIME CAUSEING SEVERAL NSF FEES. THIS IS AFTER ALL PERMISSIONS WERE REVOKED FROM THEM ACCESSING MY ACCOUNT. THIS IS FRAUD!! DO NOT GO WITH CASHCO THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!! I WILL REPORTING THEM TO THE FINANCIAL AGENCY OF CANADA AND I URGE ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS BEEN SCAMMED OR EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING TO DO THE SAME!!!!

This used to be a top notch place to take a payday loan from, they used to have amazing staff! Now you're lucky if you get a reply back. Absolutely crap customer service, the app sucks, what's the point of having a message board if you never get a reply? All the phone numbers google gives you to certain locations say the numbers are no longer in service. The main phone number is an automatic answering machine and nobody ever calls back. Email.... well what a joke. Looking to pay back loan early don't bother trying to get in touch because you'll be ignored. Come time to pay on the date and you miss the payment, they'll call, text you worse than a stalker just like an incurable std, you can't get rid of them lol I told them that last time they messaged me lmfao

Back when I was dumb and stupid with money, I had to take out one of these loans
I paid it off no problem but now five years later down the road they took out money from my account!!!they admit it’s their mistake But
If I would not have noticed, they would’ve scammed me out of $200
If I were you guys, I would check your account if you ever had a loan with them to see if they did this to your account as well

I am not impressed with this company at all and will never apply for a loan with them again. They keep sending emails stating that I am pre-approved, but when I apply, I get denied.

I applied for a loan today, and someone named Chelsea L emailed me, saying that I owe $63. Once this amount is paid, my balance will be cleared. I was very confused by this because the last time I was approved for a loan with them was in January 2025, which I paid off, and I have the emails and receipts as proof.

Thinking I still owed money, I sent an e-transfer immediately. I received a receipt for the payment, which showed I had another balance of over $500! I emailed Chelsea L for clarification, but never received a reply.

Additionally, I received a notice stating that I had a duplicate account that needed to be corrected due to having two different email addresses. I had previously emailed them to resolve this issue but received no response, and it clearly wasn’t fixed. I reached out again to address it, but still, no reply or acknowledgment.

This experience has been very disappointing, and I am done with this company. I won’t be providing any referrals either!

You've been ignoring me for 2 weeks. I couldn't get a loan over Christmas at all and you took out money that you were not allowed to take. I've already paid you. You took it a double payment and now you won't talk to me

I had recently reviewed a few months ago after their physical branches had closed. That fact plus having their new lending criteria deny my application after a long wait was frustrating.

Anyways, I wanted to post an update after attempting another application this month, which was approved. I am glad that they could help this time, especially since the loan was to make Christmas gifts really special and not bargain price junk from a liquidation store. The representative, Tereasa , I reached was knowledgeable, courteous, and responsive to text messages with questions while working through the application.

They seem to be finally getting some of the issues after the initial move to an online only company ironed out. This time I was able to get in touch with a representative right away and didn’t have to wait for a call back. I am also glad they seemed to abandon having multiple different phone IVR queues based on loan type and new loan vs existing . Lastly, the representative I spoke with this time gave better information about whether the application page on the website could be used for a payday loan type compare to previously getting conflicting info from other agents and their webpage.

Their general webpage still has a few places with outdated info (after the sudden shift to online-only) but they appear to be working on it.Still miss being able to deal with a physical branch but can’t exactly blame Cashco for adapting to changes in society to stay profitable.

Very poor communication. Spoke with Rishav by email advising that I would be making payments in December, that my goal was to he paid up by the end of December.

Then my account was transferred to Tamara Domshy who said she was taking over my account. I told her in a text that I would be making payment in full by the end of December, she didn't even ask any further questions or consult me further, she simply went ahead and took the full amount of money off my paycheck, even though I messaged her to tell her I was going to pay in full within 2 weeks. She quickly informed me that it was too late and that the payment was already sent for processing.

I knew I wasn't going to have the full amount until Dec 24th so I tried to place a stop at the bank to prevent it from going through. I was planning to pay a portion by e-transfer on Dec 16th and the rest on Dec 30th but she went ahead and took the full amount leaving me stranded right before Christmas.

Unfortunately the bank couldn't stop the payment because she lied about the date of when the transaction was coming out. I believe she did this purposely so that I couldn't successfully put a "Stop Payment" on it due to the fact that the date I gave the bank was incorrect. This is totally dishonest and careless to do to someone right before the holidays.

She should have properly warned me that she was going to do this if I didn't make payment. She didn't take the time out to fully investigate or communicate with me, she just went in and took the money. This company is predatory and dishonest, do not use their services.

after several months paying my entire payday loan off on time and being able to renew that loan each time i was counting on that good standing and relationship for my budget. that obviously is my own fault for counting on a company i trusted. that claims to have no barriers and helps canadians financially. 🙄i paid the loan on time, in full. and continued to start the reloan process as usual. at a time when they went through a system upgrade, no one was approved apparently. i left messages, emails, online account chat messages and no one responded back to me except one agent at the beginning, which i just missed and another agent who started me on the process and was the only helpful person who actually took the time to communicate with me by email…2 weeks later. she wasn’t able to help though. i wasn’t able to get a hold of anyone until the end of the month. at which point, because i had counted on the same reloan process, and hadn’t had any updates, or communication at all of what was going on, or what had changed.
i wasn’t able to get notice to my financial responsibilities of the circumstance or find anyone else to help. when i did get someone at cashco, because of those nsf’s caused by this lack of communication &consistent reloan process i had; with my account always in good standing. those nsf’s prevented them to approve a new loan and i have been a downward spiral trying to catch up and make arrangements to find access to other funds and to try to balance it all out. which is now almost 3 months later, i’m still unable to do. i’m evicted. my car insurance is in default and my car payments are behind and still working on getting those covered. i was only able to pay partial payments and keep my phone connected, because i need it to verify and communicate. essentially im in a worse spot then was when i began with them.

I love the customer service and how they make it easier to reborrow . I would recommend them to anyone who needs a loan because of their interest rate and also their friendly staff, who are good at what they do ! Keep up the Awesome work Cashco!!
