This company is awesome! I have an old 1890 Brunswick original Bar that I have been restoring. I needed some custom capitols made and I looked on the internet for weeks trying to find somebody in the United States who could make something close to what I needed. I had no luck until I found out that Alex at Carved Decor could help me design some custom capitals that could match my Bar. I received them just before Christmas and what a joy they were to see. Beautiful work and first-class materials used. Russians Don't make no crap like China. If you want nice stuff buy from these guys and I promise, you won't be disappointed. I will only buy from this company on all my furniture projects. Also Alex kept in touch with me every day by email to make sure i was happy with their design on my capital's. Five Stars from me !!! It's hard not to sound too effusive about a newel post cap, but our owl is beautiful - so much so that I waited until the walls were finished to write this review so that my photos would do it justice.
My husband & I, initially worried about the cost of this, versus the £10 for a plain ball that our builder insisted would be better. We ignored their protestations and revelled in their about turn as they took photos!
This owl is beautifully carved & the wood is so lovely we couldn't bring ourselves to stain it. Everyone who views our owl loves it & it gets alot of strokes too.

I purchased a couple of wood finials and needed them in less than two weeks based on the work my contractor was doing in my house. Alex was very helpful and I received them in a week. Not only were they sent to me in a timely fashion, the final work was perfect. Nicely carved and high quality. I wish more companies were as good and responsible as this one! 5 stars all the way!

Great selection. Beautiful carvings. Very happy with the result. I had to pay tax twice though. Etsy takes tax off at source but it needs to say this on the outside of the package (plus Etsy's tax details) or New Zealand customs charges the tax again. (Lesson learnt! Now I know for next time.) Also to avoid biosecurity delays and extra costs, it would be great if you could write on the packaging that the wood is treated/ heat treated (ie no threat from importing bugs). I'll be ordering again. Many thanks.

Excellent quality carvings. I purchased an oak capital and was really impressed with the detail, the quality, price. You will not find this kind of work on the high street. Worth taking a look at what they have.
