Carpet received as ordered but delayed and mixed experience regarding communication
I think 3 stars is fair. I ordered online after speaking with staff and getting good advice on the phone. My carpet and underlay has been delivered and has now been laid by my carpet fitter and everything is how I hoped it would be. It's the inbetween experience that needs to improve. I had a similar experience as other reviewers in that a delivery date email was sent, we waited all day and no delivery or call to say why. I then had to spend time chasing by phone and email to find out why no call or delivery. The answer given was that though what I ordered was core stock, one of the three cuts of carpet was damaged and so a whole new roll was ordered so all the carpet would look the same and they were polite when apologising for not calling to say why. I understand that they wanted to give me the best product so I gave them a chance to fulfill the order. The delivery arrived 1 week later than the original delivery date but did arrive on the agreed re-arranged day. The delivery driver was very good and helpful. As I said the carpet is here, it is laid, it is exactly what I ordered at a price I was happy to pay. I hope for the sake of the business that they succeed in improving customers experience going forward.

Avoid this company. Failed to deliver carpet on arranged date & no phone call to explain why. After rearranging delivery, again no delivery & despite 5 calls I was given no call back or explanation. On both occasions I was told carpet was on the van but this was obviously a lie, don't expect your carpet if you order one.

Very rude staff
I ordered my carpet online and get a call about a week later saying it will be delivered the next day,so I had to take the day off work.I waited in on the day of delivery,I was told about lunch time as I was the third drop of the day.By mid afternoon no carpet had turned up so I called to see where it was.
I was told by the lady she had made a mistake and it was being delivered on Thursday not Wednesday,I was not very happy as I had taken a days leave to be there for the delivery,I ask could someone call me because I couldn't be there on the Thursday.
So I get a call 15 mins later by a guy saying your carpet will there today anytime up until 20.30 because the Lorry is stuck in traffic...
Now I'm confused because the lady said she made a mistake and delivery was Thursday??
The guy went on to say no I told you delivery today or first thing in the morning.I replied Thursday no good as I can't be here.
This is the point he started talking over me and was being rude.He said I told you it's being fu**ing delivered today or in the morning!!!!!
This seems to be the highlight of their customer service,I wasn't prepared to spend my hard earned cash to be talked to like this so to get down on his level I told him to stick it where the sun don't shine and I'll have a refund...(wrong of me I know but I've never been talked to like that before)...so basically I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone!!!
