This is a total scam based in China
This is a scam. The company says it’s based in North Carolina with a N.C. phone number that can’t be reached. The dresses I bought were made of thin fabric with no hold or drape to them. The models look great but it is misleading. The company is really based in China and return shipping is exorbitant. They want you to take pictures of your dresses to show how they were not worn etc. only to delay giving you back your money of which you will never see. This company should be reported to the Better Business Bureau and shut down.

I should have known better than to buy…
I should have known better than to buy a dress on the Internet from a company. I did not know. However, I read their refund and return policy and thought if it doesn’t work out, I can return it for a refund. The dress I bought does not meet my expectations nor does it fit correctly. When contacting the company for a return refund, the number of individual steps I must go through to return this product is ridiculous. I will never buy anything from this company again.

I would give them a zero if I could - false advertising - no returns
I would give them a zero if I could. I ordered two blouses described as being made of linen in two different patterns. The order confirmation said I ordered two of the same pattern. I immediately told them not to ship by email and their phone number on the web didn't work. They shipped two of the same pattern. The blouses are not made of linen, but a horrible synthetic with no fabric content label. The fit was awful, very tight arms and a huge body. The website says they have no hassle returns, but when I asked to return them for a refund, they refused saying that my reason was not a valid reason for a refund. They said I could return them by shipping them to China. They cost $71. So not worth it.

I wish I could give zero stars. Stay away from this scamming company. The clothes are not as advertised (polyester instead of embroidered cotton) and they make it impossible to return the items. It is July 14 and I inquired about a return on June 1. It still hasn't been resolved. Do yourself a favor and do not buy anything from this company!

A month later and still no order
A month later and still no order
I placed my order about a month ago and have basically given up on receiving it.
What made the experience particularly frustrating was the stream of so-called “delivery updates.” I kept receiving emails that appeared to be shipping or delivery updates, but they provided virtually no useful new information. They mostly repeated the same ship date I had already been given and were filled with product advertising.
Calling these emails “updates” is misleading, in my opinion. I expected actual information about where my order was and when I could reasonably expect to receive it—not more advertising.
After a month with no order and no meaningful delivery information I've given up hope on receiving my product or even a refund. I would not order from Carol & Margaret again.
PS I am writing this after receiving the reply from this company. My instinct is that this is written by AI and should provide zero comfort that they are taking anything seriously.

Carol Margaret Wilmington. I am very disappointed with this purchase. The blue dress I received does not match the description, photos, or the quality shown on the website. The fabric, appearance, and overall design are completely different from what was advertised. I even provided a video showing the differences between the item I received and the product presented on the website.
What is even more disappointing is the return process. Despite the item being significantly different from the description, the company does not want to provide a full refund and requires the customer to pay for return shipping. This is unacceptable when the problem is not a change of mind, but receiving an item that does not match what was advertised.
I hope other customers are aware of this before placing an order.

I wouldn't recommend this seller i order 2 shoes and it came it was made with cheap material and too small. When I asked for return lable and refund they sent and an address which is in China and they told me to ship there with my expense which will cost double the shoes price i order it from U.S.A (WILMINGTON) buyers should be aware they are ripping off from the customers i already sent an email for better business department they are literally thieves.

Customer service does not offer a fair solution. My dress came with area on back seam unstitched. Size is not as described. Very pretty pattern, not impressed with fabric quality. I should not be penalized or offered a slight discount after receiving a damaged item.

This company is an online front for a Chinese company selling cheap clothing. After repeated questions about sizing and fabric content which went unanswered, I bought a dress on the site. It is 100% polyester, heavy rough fabric and not at all like the picture on the website. when I tried to return it, the address was in China! the shipping costs are more than the cost of the dress. Buyer beware. What is advertised as linen is a cheap polyester rayon blend - a tag was left in one of my items. Delivery time was incredibly long, refunds are convoluted and difficult. This company says they are in North Carolina, while all shipping is from China. Customer service was polite, but is not for the customer, it seems to serve the commercial interests of the company only.

Dresses are cheap, worse than anything you would find at Walmart. Not as advertised. Looks nothing like the photos. Is a front for cheap Chinese goods. I blame myself because I didn’t check out this site before buying.

Would have given it no stars if that were an option. Merchandise quality not as advertised (cheap poly versus linen); size chart is inconsistent with garment; no hassle return policy is a joke...returns must be made to China, though the site advertises as being rooted in Wilmington, NC. Ended up with a dress I can't/won't use and out of pocket since I wasn't going to spend the cash necessary to return to China (even though it was shipped to me from NY).

The styles of the shoes and dresses were very nice and ordering went smoothly. I also liked the note sent recognizing my order was received. I am looking forward to the delivery!
I still agree with what I wrote before but I have to say I am very disappointed in the lack of delivery. It is now July 28 and I still haven't gotten anything in the order - the reason given is that the shipment is stuck in customs. While this may be true, the website indicated a much faster turn around.
