I applied online
I applied online, care worker tax staff called me to chat to see if I was eligible. They did all the rest and I received confirmation from inland revenue and care worker tax company sent me a cheque. One of the staff called to check i have received it and made sure I was happy.

Yes they may get you a refund
Yes they may get you a refund, but then you are stuck having to fill in self assesment tax returns for the forseable future.
Now upon leaving my review, I have the company on the phone telling me my review is not factually correct, and after trying to go over some issues get me to change my review. Well in my expericnce it is factually correct, it is what happened in my situation. Calling HMRC is a nightmare, I was given no help, and was informed is was the duty of carer work tax to close the account. I was told by care worker it was up to the account holder. I was given a £100 late penalty for not filling in the self assesment tax return.

They do all the work for you and you get most of your claims back from HMRC .

It’s worth applying
I applied for this rebate not thinking I would be entitled to anything but I was and are grateful to CWTR for sorting everything out as I would not have a clue where to start.
Yes you have a commission to pay but it’s money I would not have had so it’s a win win situation for me.
